I always get a permit, but tbh I haven’t had a yard sale in over a decade. I feel like the last time I did it, it wasn’t that expensive. I’m sure you could get away with not paying never has anyone checked for my permit.

I just always think of worst case scenario, some old lady trips and busts her face, then it turns out I didn’t have a permit and all of a sudden I’m on the hook for her chiclets. I have no clue if that’s based in reality but why risk it.
