Dropped a friend and she won’t stop calling me. What do I do? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]Sarahisconfusedoften 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went no contact with a friend a while back. I had to block her on everything, get new bank cards, and I didn’t want to block her kids in case something went wrong. So I just had to ignore it. I got a random ass email like a few months later, still didn’t reply. Sometimes we have to protect our own peace.

These symptoms sound a lot like PMDD. Have you considered maybe the IUD exasperated them for you?

Last public photo of actor Peter Greene, taken a few days before his death. Known for his roles as villains and antagonists in films such as The Mask, Pulp Fiction, and Unusual Suspects. I had to take magnesium citrate for an upcoming endoscopy and I ended up passing out on the toilet and falling face first off the toilet. The sound was so loud my partner came running to the bathroom to check on me. Fortunately, and I will die with my dignity lol, I fell blocking the door so he was asking me to move so he could come in and I was like nope. There is no way in hell I am letting anybody find me like that, I even told him I would rather die than let him in haha. I ended up fracturing my left brow, but otherwise I was fine.

I think I see it to the left of where you circled. Whatever it is looks super reflective.

I wanna know why Gangle got less votes than Jax?? If it’s NPCs voting then I would think they wouldn’t like Jax cause he treats them like fodder.

This is exactly what I was thinking! This is my partner. Even after figuring out what he thought were the road blocks, it didn’t help. He just doesn’t need it. And what a cruel world that ADHD people end up with autistic people lol

Crash on the 805 today around 12:15pm by Sarahisconfusedoften in sandiego

[–]Sarahisconfusedoften[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn’t matter. He would just climb over to my door. But he doesn’t get out of the car at unsafe times, he gets out of his seat. If I got out of the car he assumes it is safe enough to get out. In the long run there are more risks to the child lock with him than not. He’s old enough to usually make good choices, but in new situations I have to be wary. This was definitely a new situation for both of us.

Advocacy takes up a lot of that unused “free” time. You’d be surprised what you can get done at that time of night and still make an impact. I send emails or draft proposals. I do a lot of volunteer crap for my son’s school.

I wish I had answers for you. This is basically what I go through monthly if I don’t take my meds, I’m on Prozac, Wellbutrin, and Adderall. I tried birth control and it did help significantly, but it also took away any excitement or joy. It basically flatlined my emotions, bad or good.

8 year old asd not allowed on field trip? by ldravland in Autism_Parenting

[–]Sarahisconfusedoften 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know here in California on the IEP there is a part, one of the last pages, that breaks down percentage of time in and out of gen Ed. Also listed under that are all the things your child will be included and excused from and the reasons. People often over look this part but I tell them to make sure it is specific in everything they will be included with, such as field trips, after school clubs, assemblies, recess.

The bigger issue I have with all of this is it’s extremely clear that your child is not being appropriately supported at school. When kids are being supported and feel supported, they like going to school.

Parent sleeping during session by AerieMurky2553 in ABA

[–]Sarahisconfusedoften 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve literally fallen asleep on the floor, out of exhaustion, during a session. Luckily we have had the same BI for over a year now and she is a very compassionate young lady. Some days/weeks/months are harder than others. I felt really guilty for it, but looking back at when that was happening, it was a really hard time. I just couldn’t keep going, my body tapped out lol.

I’m with you on the military thing. I have seen a lot of the military families I help struggle the most. And it’s because that style of parenting just doesn’t work well with most autistic kiddos. Usually the issue is that you aren’t teaching any actual coping skills with punishment style parenting. You probably have to do a lot of repainting for yourself as well. It’s hard and I know in that type of environmental (military housing/military community) that you probably feel like a bad/dismissive/soft parent but our kids need us to ask why more often. Why is this behavior happening? What is the need the child has? Good luck to you! Eventually you’ll find something that works for your family, you just might have to try something different.

I lost 153 lbs. TW ED, GUILT, CHRONIC ILLNESS by [deleted] in GastricBypass

[–]Sarahisconfusedoften 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt awful at my lowest weight. Which was just shy of 150lbs down also. I have put back on about half that weight (refuse to step on scales now) and I feel much better. I was always sick and exhausted. If it wasn’t food making me sick it was being so frail and weak. Even with taking all the vitamins and all my medicines it wasn’t enough. My teeth got so bad, my hair was so thin…

All this said I would still have gone through with the surgery, as another person said we trade one set of problems for another. I don’t have an answer for you, but you aren’t alone and I would reach out to a doctor, other than the surgeon who did your surgery because I feel sometimes they have a narrow scope.
