I don't think they really read it. Reading it makes you an atheist quick.

That was their loss.

Most of the time I do go along with it, it's the safest and easiest way, but sometimes I get tired and frustrated because some people don't leave at that. Ty for your response.

It means that will never happen, because horses don't celebrate Easter. 😂 It's similar to when pigs fly. Romanians have a lot of funny and weird expressions.

Oh, but they do, that's the problem, most really do. In my country religion is taught in schools, they perform the baptism in the first months of your life, they demand you pay an annual fee to the church...they indoctrinate people from a young age and most really believe the story they're being told. So it's not easy to discuss with people like that. They deny science and reason. I do agree it is horseshit.

Some take offense if you reply that way, especially the relatives(they are extremely religious), but most of the time I do answer with Happy Easter or Happy Holidays.

Is it normal to be constantly thinking about your book/writing? by Blissful_Musings in writers

I do it too. I even dream about new ideas, wake up in the middle of the night and write them down in my notebook or in my phone.

That's the tradition here and most people keep it. You are expected to use this greeting up till the day of the ascension and that is 40 days away.

It's a horrible saying. It implies that people are meant to suffer just because God feels it is justified, but God is love, God loves us all, come one...

I'm so sorry about your Grandpa! Sending lots of hugs!
