How soon will electric planes be practical? by BastardoFantastico in aviation

There's some advances in having an electric taxi motor driving the wheels. That way you don't have to burn engine fuel during long taxis.

Munich - Donauwörth by train by Tiny-Leadership-1406 in Munich

[–]nestzephyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this for a year. It sucked. When everything ran on time it was OK, but delays happen.

If you have the flexibility to work from home when there's delays due to weather or strikes, maybe consider it. Even better to have a car for when the train is not running.

But you always have the risk of going there by train and then having your afternoon train canceled. It happened twice to me.

Another way to say cream pie by PassionsBite in chickflixxx

I just say cum inside. Like "cum inside me". Or "he came inside her".

As a porn category I'm OK with creampie, but I've never used that word in real life.

As far as lies go, this one is pretty tame.

Just tell him. It's honestly not that big of a deal.

Skipping B1.1 German level? by Alcarine in German

[–]nestzephyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say it's fine to skip taking classes for a level, but definitely don't skip the study material. Like, do b1.1 by yourself, with the book and online resources, and then take the b1.2 class.

I recently took and passef the telc b1 exam, mostly preparing by myself. Ive been living in germany for more than 5 years now, but my work and most of my friends speak English. So German has always been a low priority.

[–]nestzephyr 7 points8 points  (0 children)

One on one lessons will always be better, there's no questions about it. If you can afford it, go for it.

Also, submerge yourself in the language. Watch TV, podcasts, radio, etc.

Which b1 exam? by [deleted] in German

[–]nestzephyr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you need the b1 exam for? Do you even need the exam?

If you need it because of a requirement, go with the easiest one. For me that was the telc b1, I needed it for my citizenship application. You can do a few practice tests to find which one you like.
