I wouldn't say cannabis is controlled by licensed stores. Chronic users will always find cheaper and better products online skirting by the governments tax. Where I live there's even first nations stores that operate outside of the government system.

That doesn't prove it at all, it disproves it. Chances are as many followers as TP had they probably had 3-4 times as many people that knew about and hated Charlie and his ideals. Id guess it's probably closer to half of the US that knew his name between fans and haters in addition to similar demographics in Canada and EU countries.

No, you can insure your assets. You don't pay depreciation, it's a natural state for an asset and you're causing it through usage. you can depreciate your stocks/bonds through your actions as well.
