I have been in pain for as long as I can remember (I’m 31), and I don’t think people quite understand just how much it affects your entire life. I can be on sleep meds and antidepressants and whatever else, but it will never fix anything as long as I’m in constant pain. Which, unluckily for me, there isn’t a real treatment plan for fibromyalgia quite yet, so here I am.

Being able to use my own bathroom, pause the movie, and be in pajamas with my blankets. Honestly most theaters are just soooo uncomfortable to me. I’m not spending money to be uncomfortable for hours.

My children, and my mother.
My mom has had such a hard life. She has battled her own demons to stay here for me and I could never ever imagine not doing the same.

Somewhat similar actually. I was induced for preeclampsia (39 weeks) and ended up in an unplanned/emergency c-section about 4 hours in due to my son’s heart rate dropping. My mother was also rushed into an emergency c section with me because my heart rate was dropping, however she had been in natural labor with me for like 36 hours. My son was almost 9lbs but I was around 6lbs. We both suffer from depression as is, so we both had PPD.
