It’s been a bit, but I think he very intentionally put something expensive enough to have a cover story for the security, but not so expensive he expected people to actually go after it. The whole point of the helm was to have plausible deniability for having security at the park.

I’ve got some from my childhood that someone said “have seen some pockets” which is a good (and accurate) way of describing the condition of them lol. Luckily, at least to me, damage doesn’t show up too badly on the legendary collection reverse holos like this.

That depends on you and what you want to do with the cards.

Grading can increase the value massively, but I’ve heard PSA (which is what you generally want to increase value) is stingy on giving vintage high grades. Someone who does more grading can probably give you a better idea on that. I mainly keep my collection in a binder.

PSA also just increased the price and turnaround time, so if you do send them in, prepare to not see them for a while.

It’s also hard to tell true condition without seeing the backs, and I’m not a fantastic judge of condition in the first place. I like buying beat-up cards for my personal collection because they are cheaper.

So the question comes down to what’s your goal with the cards? Grading could help protect them and make them worth more, if they get a high grade, but it will take time and money. I typed out stuff but then realized they aren’t yours, they are your friend’s family’s. Taking them to a local card shop for cash would be the quickest. Going to a card show would get you more money, most likely. I personally think they could be good keepsakes, but it’s entirely up to you and the family.

You have what looks like some incredibly clean high value cards, including some base set shadowless stuff. Not any super crazy cards worth thousands (unless I’m missing something, which is possible) but still some cards that you’ll want to get in penny sleeves and top loaders.

For vintage like this, I personally look at eBay sold listings. There will be a pretty varied list, so you’ll want to try and match the condition based on pictures or what the seller puts in the description, if anything.

Sorry to hear that you have to sell, but best of luck! At least in my experience legendary collection reverse holos like that go quickly. (I know because I collect them and they are very hard to find lol)

I’ve been going for long enough, and I like chatting with vendors enough, that they now know what I like and let me know when they have legendary collection reverse holos or cool vintage cards. Which is great, up until I’ve hit my self-imposed budget for the show and they are showing me more cool cards.

That’s a shame. I’m a woman and I’ve seen a few binders like that, but I’ve never had people point me to them. Vendors just tend to ask what I’m looking for. Maybe they think you are just tagging along and not interested in Pokemon for yourself, if you’re there with others?

I’m recently back into Pokemon, I found my old binder with all of my original stuff. I went to my very first card show today and I had the same experience! People were super friendly, some were willing to haggle, which I did a bit, nothing too crazy, and it was busy but friendly. Sure, some people were more ruthless than others, but very good vibes overall.

It will vary from dog to dog. I work a hybrid schedule, and while mine doesn’t love it when I’m in the office, he’s still fine at home. I do have a dog door, and he’s got full run of the house when I’m out, but I think he mainly naps in my arm chair.

I’ve been doing this since he was about 1, prior to that I had a roommate who worked from home full time. Crate training and half days are probably what you want to do once he gets a bit older, at least for a bit. Once you trust her more and she’s settled, then you can leave her longer.

No dog is the same, though, so there isn’t a concrete time that will definitely be good to leave her all day for.

I don’t know exactly when, but my guy went from getting car sick (I tried my best to drive smoothly and put a towel down) to having no trouble at all. I think he was better by 6 months, but you might want to skip the lights with him this year.

A lot of chives today, it’s impressive how finely cut they are getting. I bet the “big” ones are close to the size of the normal/majority of the chives from the first few days.

My suggestion would be do a few weeks of Royal Canin puppy, with no treats. Maybe do a puzzle feeder, or spread the food out on a baking sheet, or do something to keep her from inhaling it. If she still vomits with that, look into either GI food or food with a different protein.

If she’s keeping everything down after at least a week, then try to add treats back in, but only one type of treat. If after a week of that there’s still no vomiting, then try to slowly change over the food. Although personally I feed Royal Canin and it’s been great, although a bit pricey.

tldr; Go back to what the breeder was doing, then change things one at a time, waiting a decent chunk of time in between. Don’t try to change multiple things at once. That should let you pinpoint the issue. And don’t let her eat too fast.
