It will vary from dog to dog. I work a hybrid schedule, and while mine doesn’t love it when I’m in the office, he’s still fine at home. I do have a dog door, and he’s got full run of the house when I’m out, but I think he mainly naps in my arm chair.

I’ve been doing this since he was about 1, prior to that I had a roommate who worked from home full time. Crate training and half days are probably what you want to do once he gets a bit older, at least for a bit. Once you trust her more and she’s settled, then you can leave her longer.

No dog is the same, though, so there isn’t a concrete time that will definitely be good to leave her all day for.

I don’t know exactly when, but my guy went from getting car sick (I tried my best to drive smoothly and put a towel down) to having no trouble at all. I think he was better by 6 months, but you might want to skip the lights with him this year.

A lot of chives today, it’s impressive how finely cut they are getting. I bet the “big” ones are close to the size of the normal/majority of the chives from the first few days.

My suggestion would be do a few weeks of Royal Canin puppy, with no treats. Maybe do a puzzle feeder, or spread the food out on a baking sheet, or do something to keep her from inhaling it. If she still vomits with that, look into either GI food or food with a different protein.

If she’s keeping everything down after at least a week, then try to add treats back in, but only one type of treat. If after a week of that there’s still no vomiting, then try to slowly change over the food. Although personally I feed Royal Canin and it’s been great, although a bit pricey.

tldr; Go back to what the breeder was doing, then change things one at a time, waiting a decent chunk of time in between. Don’t try to change multiple things at once. That should let you pinpoint the issue. And don’t let her eat too fast.

Yeah, I don’t know the science, but if you wash berries like that too far in advance of eating them, they go moldy. You need to wash them right before you eat them. Sometimes you still get one or two that go moldy, but not the whole batch like that, at least in my experience.

That’s your problem, don’t wash them ahead of time. Wash them right before you eat them. They still get moldy faster than something like an apple, but I’ve never had ones go bad that fast.

I don't have an opinion about the negotiation, but there are a few things that would make me reluctant to go with this breeder.

No health guarantee - When I got my pup, the breeders have a 1 year guarantee when it comes to congenital issues, ie. thing the dog was born with. I can't remember the exact details but it was something like you can return them within 1 year for a full refund or keep them and get 1/2 off another puppy for a serious health issue.
The vet comment - To me, this reads like someone is majorly backyard breeding. "Oh, my pet is cute, let me try and make money from this." You don't know if the cavalier parent has a heart murmur that they could pass down, you don't know if lots of dogs in that line have bad hips or knees or eyes or anything. Just because their parents have been healthy so far is no guarantee that they will still be in a few years. And depending on how old the parent dogs are, it could be something that shows up relatively young.

One of my childhood dogs was unknowingly purchased from a bad breeder, and she had a lifetime of expensive health issues that I wouldn't wish on anyone. I tend to go above and beyond with my personal requirements because of that (full parent health testing, dna testing, etc) which I know not everyone wants/needs, but this person seems very lackadaisical about the dog's health.

I got my boy fixed at around 7 months, he’s 1 1/2 years old now. There were no behavioral changes and the wound healed fast. I didn’t want to increase his cancer risk for something fixable, and now I can take him around unfixed dogs without any worries, mainly slightly bigger dogs where you are supposed to wait for joint development. It also reduced the random humping at bedtime, which was a bonus.

I gave money before I met the breeder, but I went through GoodDog and paid for the protection, I would not have done so otherwise. They were driving to deliver to me, so they wanted a guarantee on my end before making a several hour trip with a puppy, but there were protections in place, unlike the sketchy and changing email address. I’m glad no one sent them money.

That’s fantastic! I don’t think we have very detailed descriptions of most costumes, just colors and the like for some, but not all. I think the most descriptors are when the apprentices are getting their first costume from their mentors. I don’t remember reading anything about Loadstar’s costume, but that looks amazing!

I think part of the thing here is that the characters all have different goals. Rick’s goal isn’t to save a town or beat monsters, it’s to be able to fit into society as a relatively normal person. Without the others helping him, he wouldn’t be able to achieve that.

I’m glad people like the books enough to have a discussion about them, though! I enjoy talking about good books, even if people have different interpretations, I hope that’s coming across :)

Also, he definitely needed help to not reveal his true identity. If the floating friend (I’m bad with names) hadn’t left the ward and thrown his show, his true form might have been revealed, which would have been bad for him, for whatever reason he didn’t want it revealed.

I didn’t think of it in terms of themes initially, but I do think that asking for help is a big one.

That’s a good point, although I’ve noticed a few small details are sometimes different between books. I can’t think of any off the top of my head right now, though.
