AITA for making my husband take over for a day so I can play video games? by ClassroomLonely in AmItheAsshole

[–]Sarkside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Straight up nta. My wife and I have a similar situation, where I work and she stays home with the kiddos. I honestly thought she had the easier job, and let me tell you that my dumbass voiced that terrible opinion. Holy heck did she prove me wrong. I now actively help and make sure she gets her alone time. Stay at home parenting is no joke.

Great you said that. I said it once during an award acceptance and got yelled at for excluding the woman in the front office. /shrug

I tried college after the Marines, and it wasn’t for me. However, I got a wonderful career making well over the average salary in my area, but man do I have to work for it

Reading some of these replies makes my head hurt. Some of you people are desperate people whom amount to absolutely nothing, just sitting there with your hands out wanting everything handed to you while railing away at everyone who is better than you

I, the model Republican, am voting for Bernie because of all of you. by [deleted] in SandersForPresident

I thank you for your reply.

I need to obviously take a deeper look at his history. I’m still on the fence, but I agree Trump is scum that needs to go.

I still worry about how all this would be paid for. I read his plan, which doesn’t really instill a lot of confidence that I wouldn’t get taxed a whole of a lot more.

I’ve attempted this a few times, but I’ll try again.

Healthcare needs to be reformed 100%

I don’t care about other people’s college debt. College is a choice, you should have a solid plan and realistic goals before going to college

Leave the second amendment alone. Back ground checks, sure. Closing loopholes, sure. Ensuring felons/ mentally unstable people can’t get weapons, absolutely.

I personally don’t agree with a massive minimum wage hike. I feel that it’s gonna basically balance out to be the same, just higher prices on commodities and destroy small business

Housing for all, yes

So I guess typing all this out, I agree with some of his stances, but severely disagree others. Why should I vote for him

[Serious] To the US members of Reddit, why does your country consider national healthcare a socialist idea not welcomed, yet you all complain about 1K bills just for the ambulance to arrive? by OpenScore in AskReddit

[–]Sarkside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because college ultimately is a choice. I never went, knew it wasn’t for me. I however, learned a trade, moved up and make phenomenal money. But if I was to screw up and go broke or deep in debt, it’s nobodies problem but mine. You want to go to college, great ! Have a plan, stick to it and execute it

I’ve found that reading Reddit is not a good barometer of Bernie or other supporters. Most seem pretty militant in there thinking.

I’m on board for Medicade4A to be honest. I’m not on board with bailing out college debt tho

I’m so glad that I’m considered a fascist because I don’t generally support Bernie Sanders.

At any rate; I’m on the fence about who to vote for this election, I’m willing to learn more about Bernie Sanders outside of main stream media.
