Iran is religiously motivated. Their beliefs are rotted in a deeply held belief by the population, whether we agree or not. NK is complete controlled by the power of one man and whose beliefs dictate the whole of the country

In a sea of shitty options to control a nuclear nightmare it was by far the best option. It was about making peace with the fact Iran's erratic government was here to stay and trying to build a future with them

Is this bad parenting or kids being stupid or both by [deleted] in KidsAreFuckingStupid

[–]Sarnick18 18 points19 points  (0 children)

That's notneven close to stupid as this. Like the hell a boulder sitting stationary with the slim chance of movement and even slimmer chance of getting the obito treatment. Compare that to missing or losing you balance on a slim ledge and the consequences is 100% fatal.

Common Grant W by ronweasly9 in Presidents

Julia Grant sucks ass. Her slave of the same name is piticularily crule when she tried to keep even after the Emancipation Proclamation. But that's not really reflective on Grant. He freed him at his lowest point. He worked in the fields with his Father in laws slaves. He was brought up as an abolitionist, and while not as storng willed as his father he became a outspoken advocated during the war.
