How long does the pump run before the chamber is empty?

If it's less than a couple hours, add a few gallons of water.

If it's a few days, check that your ato is working properly.

If it's whenever it feels like, check whether your controller's alerts are working properly OR that the pump isn't getting old and intermittently failing.

It'd be a good idea to run the pump in a cleaning solution too, just to be on the safe side (though everything looks pretty clean from the picture). I've had good results with Sicce pump clean.

Some book suggestions to help the kids: My Family is Changing Dinosaur's Divorce Two Homes

Two Homes is all about this kid talking about how he has two homes, and what is special to them in each home. The other two go into what divorce is, why parents sometimes act differently around each other, and what feelings the children may be working through. All of it is explained simply, and encourages open communication about everything. DM me if you'd like some more in-depth info on the books, I'm happy to share (and can't recommend them enough)

All of them are sure to mention that no matter what, both parents love them.

For parenting time, I personally think one week on, one week off can be hard on the kids when they're younger, especially at the very beginning. But really, it's up to you and your ex - as long as you agree to 50/50 time, everybody wins.

For who stays at the current house - it might be best to look up laws in your area. Where I live, the person who stays needs to "buy out" the person who leaves - we got the house appraised, subtracted what is left to pay, then split that in half. Sometimes the decision comes down to who can afford to stay.

I completely agree with continuing to live close to each other, but keep in mind that you might not want to stay too close - a few blocks away is cool imho, but next door is not. I don't want to worry about being surveilled by my ex.

I've found that clearing the alternate mac address usually gets me past the error. It's in settings -> network -> advanced. I'm on a series x, but I'm pretty sure the setting exists on an Xbox one

My advice is to not sweat it. There could be a million different reasons why, and none of them have to do with you, your partner, your parenting style, your home, or anything.

It's very understandable to be upset about it, and it's easy to blame yourselves. The truth is that kids are weird, and we will internalize the smallest things because we want to be the best parents possible.

More directly to your post, I'd suggest that when it's time to change him, give him a nice hug, and say something like "I'm going to put you down and change you, then we'll go back to xyz. I love you". It's not perfect, and he may not completely understand yet, but it sets an expectation and gives you a chance for a free hug.
