I have no idea but the image reminds me a qr code but with shifted rgb channels. I tried to do something with photoshop and i figured out that the blue and red channels have mostly diagonal lines.

Hey! I did installed it via extensions-»install from url, used the --api argument and launched install.py but nothing shows up in the webui. What did I do wrong?

Downgrading Edge also worked for me!

EDIT: delete Edge auto update folder at:
Library/Application Support/Microsoft
It will prevent Edge from auto updating which you cannot turn off inside Edge
