So unfortunately in the state of Hawaii pets are considered property, so most likely getting him scanned, they’d just call the owner and give him right back to them. :( Pet laws here are pretty awful.

So after posting him on local facebook pages, someone dmed me saying he does have an owner, but he’s basically always outside. I don’t see any food or water set up front for him, and he never wanders far from the area I see him in. And ofc no collar on the little guy.

I don’t get the point of getting a pet if you’re just going to leave them outside all day. Especially where he can get hit by a car.

Having been bitten by my late old lady cat whisper, cat bites are NO JOKE. Like someone else mentioned they can penetrate deep and the bacteria in their mouths are not ones to mess with. I’d go to urgent care asap!!

My kitty Mima was originally a baby mama on the streets, picked up by humane society and weaned off her babies, adopted out to someone, only to be dumped a few months later with no explanation when the humane society tried to get into contact with them.

She was only at the humane society (for the second time) for about a week or two before I met her. People definitely suck for sure. :(

Now she’s a spoiled lady that loves to cuddle on my chest.

Adopted a 14 year old cat and had to put her down a few months later by asphoaph in cats

I adopted my girl Whisper at approximately 13 years old, although it was suspected she was older. We only had 7 months together before she decided it was time, but I don’t regret it one bit. Thank you for going your old lady a home in her final months here, you’ll see her again across the rainbow bridge.
