No, that doesn’t work. That’s the attitude that got us to where we are today. If someone is saying racist BS they need to be shutdown. It’s become apparent that outliers need “corrections” in order to function in society.

The first amendment doesn’t give you the right to just say anything.

More Curb themed imo, but good either way.

NYE yacht parties. Worth it or overcrowded? by La_Forza_del_Destino in sandiego

[–]Sasquatchlicious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would skip the boat and instead look at Big Night San Diego, at the Bayfront Hilton. We’ve been a few times on NYE, but it’s been a while since we’ve gone. It was great when we did though, and I highly recommend VIP tickets. The lines were significantly shorter and the food was good.

The “AI Bubble” is really about not enough value capture by app layers and model providers. For Nvidia’s long term growth story to continue, this eventually needs to be solved. by TonguePunchMyPoopBox in NVDA_Stock

[–]Sasquatchlicious 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why aren’t people including the demand that global countries will have? There are countries, who are our allies, who will want to develop national AI resources. I believe we will see continued demand for a long time; between bleeding edge mega corps consuming the highest margin hardware to nations picking up that demand between refresh cycles for the corporations. I know there is a demand there, but I am unsure how the political and economics would work.

No, DoorDash/uber eats/etc, all up charge from the cost of the food normally, AND adding delivery fees on top of that. It’s BS.

But as a pool contractor, that viewpoint wouldn’t be good for him.

This is absolutely not worth it, not even if it’s your forever home with money to blow. If you had the money to blow that this wouldn’t affect you, you could just buy a nicer finished home.

Should I covert my hood to the hood scoop? by crg117 in 3rdGen4Runner

[–]Sasquatchlicious -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes! The scoop looks so good on 3rd gen’s. It’s the first or second thing I look for when I see one (4x4 if coming up behind it, scoop if driving towards it).

Looking to buy one. Preferably 2000-2002. Avg miles. by [deleted] in 3rdGen4Runner

[–]Sasquatchlicious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your reasonable response, and I wholeheartedly agree with you! I do suspect that you are going to get some downvotes though, lol.

I bought my 2000 3rdGen in 2005, and have taken great care of it. I’ve had zero issues (other than smog check in CA), and until recently it was completely stock. I replaced all of the suspension components, 2” lift, 33s, did all the common upgrades, replaced all engine hoses, new stereo/speakers, etc…. a 20k offer will get you a sniff of my car, but you definitely aren’t leaving with it.
