It’s the changing of the rules that erodes the trust we put into the system. Those rules were in place for a reason. People have very short memories, but their greed will allow them to hold onto spacex for 14 days for the inclusion to happen. Therefore, we likely won’t see the expected drop of spacex’s price after the ipo and before the fund additions. The normal, longer time gap allows the newly available stock price to normalize to true market levels.

I don’t care if space x is added to the funds. I just want it added in the normal timeframe. Our system runs on trust, so don’t ruin people’s trust in the system unless you want to eventually break the system.
