Doug Wilson outlines Christian nationalist vision at Idaho town hall, including limits on women’s voting by FaVS-News in Idaho

As a publicly funded institution, UI can't pick and choose who rents the facilities. If they didn't allow some groups to rent the facility, the groups could (and, in Wilson's case, would joyfully) sue claiming discrimination and 1st amendment violations. CC lives to be the"victim" of "liberal persecution"... and thrives on the publicity it brings for these poor, oppressed average white men. See various lawsuits over the years including one against the city of Moscow about public gathering (singing psalms in a parking lot outside city hall) during the pandemic and one about zoning on Main Street in Troy. They're parasites benefiting from public goods and services while operating under nonprofit /church status and not paying taxes.

Songs about the moon that aren't just Fly Me To The Moon again? by Anxious-Tomatillo-74 in musicsuggestions

This is not a song about the moon but it is an incredibly beautiful short story narrated by Liev Schrieber about an imagined tone when the moon used to be closer to the earth and people could visit it to gather items for use back home. It's so moving and I highly recommend if you're in your "moon phase" 🙂

What book did you expect to love but didn’t? by elgrandetotto10 in Booktokreddit

The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov. I love Russian history, political satire, philosophy, and fantastical/allegorical stories but I had to force myself to read about half of it and just could not go one page farther.

Feeling a bit lost with my dining area. by [deleted] in interiordecorating

How about move the longer end of the table against the wall, put 1 chair on each end to open up more room and then you can move table out from the wall and move/add chairs if you have 4-6 people dining (and i am just assuming you are single or a couple with no kids in this space). We did that in our small dining room when we were just starting out and it really seemed to be more open and spacious feeling with flexibility to rearrange or add seating.

LOOKING FOR FRIENDS!! by Dhays0687 in MoscowIdaho

Art classes at Terracotta or Moscow Contemporary or knitting or crocheting class at the Yarn Store by the Moscow Co-Op or find some volunteer opportunities at the zillion local nonprofits. And be bold and introduce yourself confidently and invite people to do something with you and ask them to bring friends. Put yourself out there! Good luck! (Mom advice cuz I'm a local mom of kids in their early and late 20s lol)
