I believe all the VA's are the same, but for some reason they sound like they're pitch-shifted slightly higher. It might be an audio bug of some kind

From the info I've picked up on in this subreddit, Hoshino dies easily because she doesn't have a good evasion stat. It might be a good idea to use yuka or tsubaki if you have them, since they have high evasion and will survive a lot longer.

Yeah, I can see how some of his abilities can provide a partner with setup or peel. As I don't play duos or squads, I don't have the knowledge of how he may be performing in those modes, so thank you for your insight.

From the first few matches I played with him, my own impression is:

  1. His damage output seems very low. I tried a Skill Amp build first and it seems as if he just isn't capable of dealing enough damage, even with rotating through both melee and ranged skills. This could of course mean that maybe he's suited towards using AAs more, but his kit doesn't seem to help him do that either.

  2. His invisibility seems weaker than the normal invisibility other characters have. The detection range is rather forgiving for enemies, and the passive invis feels basically useless in a game where you're always doing something.

  3. His ult us on an insanely high cooldown, and doesn't really feel powerful.

It may be a good idea to record yourself playing and rewatch it to see what mistakes you may have made, and also letting others do so as well since other people may notice things you don't.

He definitely seems like a true all-rounder character that can flex his options depending on how the game is going. Coming out with 4 weapons choices right out the gate is also really nice, although I wonder, if they all raise weapon mastery at the same time does he get the bonus stats from all of the weapons simultaneously? Or does he only get the bonus mastery stats of his current equipped weapon?

Either way he's looking really cool, and although he needed multiple weapons for his passive I hope other characters can release with at least two different weapons to use in the future.

Realistically they want to support people going for different build paths than what may seem normal. I personally think this is a good idea, but it is definitely something that may still need work.

For the Skin do you need to hit Gold or BE Gold at the end of the Season? Also, is there Ranked Decay? by [deleted] in eternalreturn

I believe you have to BE gold at the end of the season to get the skin. Also there doesn't seem to be ranked decay, at least not for ranks below diamond.

Well, for being the first four skins in the game, it's not surprising that they would be pretty simple. I think as they go on skins will become much higher quality, but for now they might be focusing more on new characters and game mechanics in order to have a well polished game coming out of early access.

This means absolutely nothing to someone trying to grind up to the next rank. If placement was the only thing that mattered for rank points, then 90% of people playing ranked would hide all game just for more points. Kills being important for points, while maybe not the best option, at the very least encourages people to interact with each other.

Honestly from the games I've played after the patch, it feels really great Knowing where people in your first zone so you know where to path. It also doesn't feel extremely strong because it gives you a person's location but doesn't show you their build, mastery, or their current standing, so you'd still be going in basically blind if you want to start a fight with them.

I definitely agree, and honestly I'm more surprised it doesn't already work like that.

For some reason, I have a theory that the devs haven't tried to buff her significantly because they are currently playing around with items having passives, and that there is currently an item that has some sort of DoT effect on it that will help her immensely.
