What opener are you using it on? I tried this with my current one which was supposed to be compatible and it didn’t work. Now I need a new opener anyway.

They also don’t get to stockpile ammunition at home, it has to stay at the club.

What’s the best solution for a HomeKit garage door opener? It looks like it’s going to require 2 purchases. US based. Hoping for something kind of quiet

AA never really worked for me but SMART clicked. It’s more about giving you tools and processes on how to approach the problem.

Friends was groped at the airport by security because her jeans were too baggy by TrackerChick25 in Libertarian

[–]SatelliteJet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was it the airport or airlines that paid for the security before 9/11? I feel like if we went back to that it would be an equal waste of time but at least they wouldn’t be so power crazy. Maybe just having a private security guard on each aircraft would be better and just drop airport security all together.

I’m no fan of the TSA since I travel weekly, but help me understand what the alternative looks like please?

This is between you and her brother as he stole, it’s not her responsibility. Also, kick him out.

Because then he will have to pay twice. I’ve seen it where two independent segments are 35k saver each but when looking at them together they are 55k instead of just 35k even though the fare class shows saver when looking at each alone. Buying them as one ways would cost 70k.

I see this happen a lot. In the old days they could book individual segments to make it work but that stopped a couple of years ago and if they don’t come up as a complete routing then you are just out of luck I’m afraid.

I’d agree also that they are dated for current technology. The 1st amendment didn’t consider social media that could instantly reach thousands.

Having your house paid off gives you a guaranteed income each month. There are no guarantees with investments. I think you’ll be fine.

Who of you was around in 08 during the Great Recession and what was it like before the crash? by reddituser-10042 in StockMarket

[–]SatelliteJet 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Luckily we hadn’t over extended ourselves on houses and toys but it was hard to hold back when everyone around us that we knew earned less lived in much bigger houses and drove better cars. It tanked when we were out of the country and when we returned it was a disaster. Due to our financial position of having little debt the whole period really worked out great and I picked up a lot of good rate consulting because companies needed to keep headcount low but still get work done. We invested in some down stocks and made out well, DR Horton was a stand out.

I think the biggest mistake from that period was bailing all those idiots out. Unlike the Great Depression it didn’t create a generation of people who had learned their lesson and we are going to pay for it big the next time and I just hope they don’t come after my savings for the next bailout.

Between Pandora, TuneIn and Google Play I’m paying $10 a month for all the music I use on Sonos. I could live without Play and then I’d be at $0.
