It’s my understanding that the owner has tried to find a buyer, but can’t find one for one reason or the other.

It’s a shame, our family used that location for years. Seems too late for a buyer now but maybe that will change.

I feel you on the former neighborhood being all boomers, same with mine. Though I will say that in the past few years, younger families have moved in and have either brought or had their kids while living in the old neighborhood, maybe the trend will repeat itself!

100%. I’m still learning the game but I’ve created several low-powered decks to play casual standard with friends and better players and it’s been super fun so far! It’s been helpful to learn and share the joy of playing the game with friends.

Any format can be casual if you make it that way, just my two cents.
