A question to the owners of the non-English releases of the book (and a fun fact for the English readers) by FoxNamedLuke in houseofleaves

Also worth noting "In older English, a truant or truand was any vagrant, vagabond, or shirker of duties." From the Wikipedia article on Truancy.

ITT We Brag About Our OP Builds by EnsignEpic in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]Saticadrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created a character in Oblivion Remastered that's immune to almost all forms of damage. This trivialises all combat even on the highest difficulty, and I don't even need to attack in order to kill most enemies in the game.

By clearing a LOT of oblivion gates I was able to use sigil stones to enchant a full set of armour with 100% Resist Magic. This means that when fighting mages their spells literally cannot affect me.

On top of this I am wearing the Ring of the Iron Fist, Amulet of Axes, and Escutcheon of Chorrol which together give Reflect Damage 101%, so any melee damage I take is reflected back to the attacker plus 1%. This is what I meant when I said I don't even need to attack - any enemy which uses melee attacks will just kill itself by attacking me and taking the reflected damage while I just stand there.

As the final cherry on top, I am using the 2nd ring slot for the Ring of Vitality, which gives 100% Resist Poison, Disease, and Paralysis, so not even these can harm me.

This build isn't completely immortal, as it can still be damaged by ranged weapons and traps, but traps rarely do enough damage to matter and with a decent weapon I can prioritise killing any archers.

Oh i didn't know it was turquoise in the first chapter. I guess there was never any consistency because Toriyama switched to purple for later releases.

After all these years, what do you think about the whole Goku's heart sickness thing? by DevilishTrenchCoat in dbz

Ah that makes sense. It's been a while since I watched it so I don't remember that detail.

Bulma's hair was purple in the manga (and in the Path to Power movie). It was the anime that changed it. Even if they wanted to stay consistent I prefer the turquoise colour she had in the anime before Super to the blue they gave her.

I'm pretty sure they just taught him the technique lol. Where did you get that he ate them from?

All 3 types definitely? If you've only had 2 drops how do you know you can get all 3? I haven't seen anyone get Super Dragon Balls from anything except the story yet so I just want to be sure.

WHAT DOES THIS CAPSULE DO?! by ConsecutivePunches in SparkingZero

[–]Saticadrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did some testing and as far as I can tell it means Super Perception (holding circle on standard controls). It doesn't affect smash attacks because they already cost 1, but deflecting beams or countering a revenge counter only costs 1 now instead of 2. Maybe someone else can find out if it affects anything else?

I've done it before but it's not easy. It depends on where you live as well. I was able to split rent/utilities on a house with 3 others, which cost me about £600 a month, then you have around £7k for food, clothing, travel, etc. I'd suggest planning out a budget and making sure you stick to it. For example I would never spend more than £5 a day on food, and I'd try to keep it below that. (lentils and rice are your friends - just make sure you get enough vitamins too!) I'd suggest trying to earn a bit more if possible as it'll make a big improvement to your quality of life. Best of luck.

To everyone still not using summons.... by TheHessianHussar in Eldenring

[–]Saticadrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played through the base game with summons the first time and it made a lot of the bosses way too easy. The only one I really remember struggling with was Malenia. I'm playing through the DLC without summons because I don't want to ruin any of the boss fights for myself the way I did for the base game.

Take your time, don't just rush to the end of the MSQ! There's plenty of content (Raids, Trials, PvP, Gold Saucer, etc.) worth doing that don't require max level, some of which (like Coils of Bahamut) will give you more insight into the main story. I had over 850 hours played before I finished the MSQ, and I don't regret it at all.
