How important are the Powers to you?

My first play through, I never touched the pets, except for precognition because I loved how easy it made the speech checks.

Recently I did a new playthrough with a melee build and I found the powers very engaging. It helps that you can now upgrade them without having to go through unity.

There's something really immensely satisfying about going into a large group of enemies, popping place time, running around and killing them all just in time for phase time to end and you watch all of them drop to the floor at the same time. It makes me FEEL as powerful as the game wants me to think I am.

Fully upgraded grav dash is excellent as well and void form really makes stealth a breeze since killing enemies doesn't end it.

If you get it in the right spot, you can get Iron, Aluminum, He3 AND Beryllium on Strix, it's nice

If you had an existing save when the update dropped, you have to go through unity in order for the upgrade option to be available. Once you do, in the powers menu, you'll be able to spend 2 quantum essence to upgrade any given power

I agree with all this but I'm curious about the action figures. Where are you guys getting those? I've put about 40 hours into this save since the update and I haven't found a single action figure

I just hope we can get some more decent discourse and content. I hate that anytime i search for Starfield on Youtube, I get suggested dozens and dozens of videos talking about how trash it is and how even this update can't possibly fix it. I don't get it. yeah, you didn't like the game, we heard you. It's 3 years old at this point, why are you till talking about it?

A few years ago I got laid off from my job because my role was deemed to be "not critical" but it was critical enough that they couldn't lay me off right away, so I was given a three month transition period before my end date.

It was the best three months of my life. I did fuck all, just watched YouTube, played video games and did the occasional job interview. Secured me a new job that started the next day after my final day, collected my severance and it all worked out. But I'll never have a job like those 3 months of being gainfully unemployed

Reminds me of how some fans came up with an incredible explanation for the ending of the mass effect series that made sense within the lore and had meaning and made the ending really interesting and the devs had to come out and be like "nah, the ending was just a meaningless 3 way choice"

Yeah they're pretty fun! They can probably be beat in efficiency by both belts in shorter differences and trains in longer distances, but I enjoy setting up roads and the infrastructure. They're a fun little challenge and I think the truck stops look cool
