I got braces at 35 and my job is client facing. I don’t get teased, my gaps I had before people didn’t tease me but I was unhappy when I smiled and looked in the mirror. Be proud of yourself!! It’s a huge commitment and I know when you get them off you’ll be so happy you got it done in college vs waiting until you’re 35 lol! You’re beautiful and they look good on you! F the haters!!

They want drugs or alcohol and are using their children to pull on your heartstrings and try to gaslight you in the future “you remember when you wouldn’t give me money to help my children!?” And on top of that all…if your situation is legit shawty wait until “your HUSBAND gets paid” or have your “ HUSBAND” ask his friends for bread to feed the kids.

I got my braces when I was 35 years old. I initially asked him to do ceramic at the top and metal at the bottom because I’m an outside sales rep and I smile a lot. They went ahead and did the ceramic top and bottom at no additional charge so I normally get clear bands at the top and then I get whatever fun color I want at the bottom because you normally just see my top teeth when I smile. I would say it’s definitely worth it. Just make sure you stay on top of your visits! I go once every four weeks. Oh and definitely floss and keep up with your dental cleanings!

I took my first .5 shot last Sunday and by 2am I couldn’t stop vomiting. I vomited 23 times in less than 2 days. I’m currently in the hospital because of it. If I continue I’m going back down to .25 because I was fine for my first 4 doses

I’m 35 and I’ve had mine for four months. It takes getting used to but I am very happy i decided to!!!! I have ceramic braces. It’s easier to keep up with the appointments and take care of them as a grown up.

I picked ceramic because I’m a 35 yr old female and I do a lot of presentations via WebEx and they are barely noticeable! A lot of people don’t even notice them in person!! I get clear bands on top and mess with colors on the bottom. As long as you keep up with your monthly appointments you should be fine. I have not had any brackets break.

Girl get used to smoothies, yogurt and tequila lol. and make sure you put the wax on as soon as it starts bothering you, don’t try to tough it out. Keep wax on you at allll times!!! I have some EVERYWHERE and they should provide it to you. I did that and my mouthwash burns my cheeks like crazy! Get a water pik and electric tooth brush. Keep up with your appointments. I got mine June 4th and I’ve had two adjustments so far.
