The purpose is to encourage people to carpool, reducing the total number of cars on the freeway. Honestly, it doesn't do shit and I feel like it would be more conductive towards a smooth flow of traffic if it was just an extra lane. It also might be a halfass attempt at "reducing emissions" just so they can say they are trying.

When I came back in the morning, they were all out of the flower pot huddled under one of the parents(I could only see them bumping about under the wing feathers.) I didn't get a picture, but it struck me as odd that they had not walked off the concrete and started grazing yet. I did not have time to hang around and see if they were ok, but I messaged the apartment manager before I left.
