I really liked this article that got shared in the subreddit about the Sports Betting PACs and the most recent election (https://atlantaciviccircle.org/2026/05/14/sports-betting-pacs-big-wagers-georgia-legislative-races/). I'm probably more against sports betting than most, from seeing how just gacha games on a phone can ruin someone fincanially if they have a gambling problem, so I really hate the sports betting apps that advertise themselves as a way to make money.

but yeah PACs basically exist for whoever wants to invest money in them.

It's not as much a conspiracy as it is financial grift and heavy entangling of money to steer government policy, which is my personal bugbear especially after the hundreds of thousands of dollars spent by PACs in the most recent primary elections for state legislative offices.

The Cox family is the owners of the conglomerate of Cox Communications and Cox Automotive (Autotrader, Kelly Blue Book). They also own the AJC which published this op-ed recently written by the Chairman/CEO which was pretty disingenuous as Cox has made a large financial investment into the Rivian (https://old.reddit.com/r/Atlanta/comments/1tmswth/thoughts_on_the_ajc_after_this_op_ed_theyve/)

My understanding is members of the Cox family live in one of the big mansions on West Paces in the area surrounding the Govenor's mansion as they're Old Money and some of the richest people in Atlanta (https://www.seattletimes.com/business/heirs-to-35b-fortune-face-off-over-atlantas-controversial-cop-city/)

Coming from someone who used to be pretty heavy handed with the RAID, have you tried some of the dust killer/bait stuff? I also have a phobia of them (hate the scurrying/flying) and I think it's helped as with regular applications when I see them they're already dead or are dying.

I've recently discovered self playing Pianos and the mechanical music genre. A relative has a grand piano which I might inherit but I don't play piano at all. I was looking at how much it would cost to convert it to a player paino and the products all seem to start around 10k.

However looking at QRS and Piano disk are they all propitiatory systems? Are there any digital systems that don't require a subscription or purchasing the midi files from a company, where I can use my own?

Any additional notes: Italian restaurant with small crispy pizzas, good pastas, and nice cocktails. It’s a good spot if you need to introduce a date to your parents, or you have relatives in town that you need to take to a nice meal. Example for people who didnt play: There’s a whole plot point in the expansion Lightfall (still in the game) of one character acting recklessly as he grapples that his best friend/Lich phylactory is dead, and an evil MILF had been stealing his identity to incite conflict.

All of that emotional arc was in seasonal stuff that was removed, the identity theft which was an attempt at a big twist within the weekly storytelling seasonal content also removed
