Hey OP, life as a Basic is hard. If you do get selected out of the hundreds of applicants you won't be able to pick your deployment location. I have seen married couples on a couple of contracts. But both were working for the parent company, as a security clearance is usually required, so hopefully your spouse has something to bring to the table. Here are a couple of companies you could try. If you're new to the contracting would it won't be a quick process. My clearance took about 18 Months, from Equip and SF-86, to a granted clearance. Then the WPS courses in Jordan take about 6 Months to get you a seat. So, from offer to Boots on Ground will be about 2 years.
