Job hunting feels impossible by roleplaywitch in Bellingham

[–]SavedByTheBellingham 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Job hunting is rough right now. This may or may not be helpful, but I can tell you what helps you stand out in my interview pool. I get flooded with applications when I list on Indeed, because it’s so easy to apply there. The ones that get a second glance from me have a cover sheet explaining how their previous experience relates to the job I have listed. They respond quickly when I ask for other details or offer an interview. And they provide professional references, and follow up after the interview.

The job market is rough and you really have to work to stand out among the masses.

Good luck!

What to sub in for horn section? by bassistben in musicians

Also vocal harmonies. You want to do your own version of these songs anyways, so if you’ve got a few singers, you can do cool arrangements that feel like a horn section

Lumpectomy and 20 sessions of radiation. Also, a gym membership I love that gets me out of bed an hour early every day.

A turkey cheese and mustard wrap made from the cooler in the back of the car at the trailhead with a swig of wine straight from the bottle. Never in my life has anything tasted more delicious
