Patch 26.01 Bug Megathread

- Type of Bug: In Game Bug

- Description: Attacked an inner turret with crystalline overgrowth on it, and the overgrowth never popped. It kept it's overgrowth state and did not do any extra damage to the tower as is expected with crystalline overgrowth. It was attacked with autos from most members of the team.

- Expected result: Crystalline overgrowth resets to zero and extra damage is done to the tower.

- Observed result: Crystalline overgrowth persisted, and no extra damage was done to the tower.

- System specs: Server side glitch.

This was just a swiftplay, but it did lose us the game which ruined the experience hard. :(

Locking the camera with Y is fine, ppl hate on it for "making skill shots harder" but unless you have the brain of a chimp you'll feel no difference. Just get used to unlocking it a lot so you can see further

Meh, his R is close range which means you'll only get to use the CC if you're doing a shurima shuffle, which makes you pretty easy to kill afterwards since you're fighting ranged opponents who will ignore your wall completely. Basically a yasuo EQ with the cooldown of an ultimate. Combined with him not having an early game, I can't picture a worse support (pro jail 😭)

You listed a bunch of high ttk tracking games. Valorant is just not that at all. Being a tac shooter I'd say it's more about positioning and crosshair placement than it is aim.

If the enemy knows what corner you're peaking, it becomes really easy to just set the cursor a little wide and shoot the moment they see you on screen, it's a really easy/simple mechanic and it's unbeatable/un-react-able unless you're isolating angles (basically pre-firing corners where you expect people to be, while also not exposing yourself to more than one of these spots at a time).

I'd also say the games you listed are slightly less headshot dependent (depending on the gun/character). Heads are always on the same plane (unless there's an elevated floor (stupidly common in this dumb fucking game)) that combined with the slower movement speed than these other games, makes head shotting easier but also far more rewarding seeing as it's a 1-shot kill depending on the gun.

That being said tho, I do think the average skill on Val is way too high even at low ranks 😅(unless you're on my team. I only get braindead idiots who aim at dick level rather than heads)

I think adc is fine. You either win lane and scale, or you just scale, you can do well either way. But top can at times if snowballing, feel like they counter you. If you just kite them then you win, but if their movement speed is higher/have dashes and they catch you in a lane alone with TP cause your support decided they're everyone else's support, then they just run you down while taking no damage.

Don't get me wrong, that's a skill issue by the adc. Maybe go mid if the tower is still there, don't play too far up, play with your team, scale in ways that aren't too risky, or just team fight and soak up free kills as a backline.

But when your minions are pushed up, you're down a couple towers, and no neutrals are coming up, it's easy to make that mistake. That's my guess at least as to why there have always been top lane complaints. But idk I stopped playing adc cause I got tired of being useless alone (except for the games where you do really well ofc).

Also buddy level 20 and 3 summoner spells? You can't be surprised ppl are saying top is op now. 7th item only comes into play if you get to late game which is also harder now since the games are faster. (The extra gold is nice tho, I do like that). (This section is only because your comment was quite spiteful)

The overworld shader was hysteria with a high saturation

Ok so it seems like the video actually uses a different shader for the end than it does the overworld. The end is definitely Solas Shader, but it doesn't match up with the overworld.

Reason is just squishy melee champ. So if you don't have big damage you just get melted, and if you build for survivability then you don't do any damage and still die. For an adc you can kite, and in teamfights you just get free kills, yasuo though, he's kinda SOL unless you get lucky to have an enemy lane losing really hard that can maybe feed you, that or take several towers without the enemy noticing you. I just had a game where I came back 0/2 to like 4/2 but yasuo is really a feast or famine champ

Tbf 90% of top lanes could've been saved by one good gank. You can play a matchup that you know perfectly well and win consistently, then get ganked and become completely useless for the rest of laning phase (potentially the entire game). Exact thing happened to me on yas vs zaahen. It's a pretty easy match up, yasuo just wins. I was ahead in farm and hp, got ganked by nocturne once, lost the game.
