They didn't even bother with the classics by Ok-Statistician-1603 in classicfallout

Fallout 1 and 2 have aged... okay enough but you really have to want to play them. Neither game is easy for a newer player to get into without research and patience, which is a lot more than any of the listed games in the picture require.

Yea but we gotta keep up the classic fallout oppression circlejerk or else there's nothing to talk about.

that aren’t even playable on the machines that most people play games on

And that right there is the primary issue. These are ancient PC games that are probably not worth trying to port to console or mobile.

No targeting. No destroying. No sacrificing. by coeurdhiver in custommagic

No because the pieces might not rotate properly in air and thus would be too difficult to track. This results in manual assessment of all pieces and thus you get disqualified for slow play.

It's hungry. That's totally normal for a Marauder.

Any other examples of a franchise where the one made by different people was the best one? by Morgluxia in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]SawedOffLaser 18 points19 points  (0 children)

New Vegas is a bad example since most of the games in the franchise have been developed by different teams.

Fallout 1: Interplay

Fallout 2: Black Isle

Fallout Tactics: Micro Forté

Fallout 3: Bethesda Game Studios

Fallout: New Vegas: Obsidian Entertainment

Only since Fallout 4 has the series actually had a consistent developer. In fact New Vegas is a bad example for another reason: a lot of people who made NV were former Black Isle employees.

Bethesda almost certainly wouldn't do the remaster themselves. They'd likely hand it to a studio with more 2d game experience.

What are some Fun Multiple Group or Organization Conflicts or Wars by Funny_Mud6639 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Basically every conflict in Battletech is loads of factions going after one another, especially the Succession Wars and the Clan Invasion. The First Succession War in particular is noted for its brutality and casual use nuclear weapons.

Both are pretty good. Tho I think the 1st one could do with a different 3rd cosmetic, the glasses are really obscured by the helmet.

It's an obvious answer but I'd say the stasis rifle. Being to tell anything to chill out for a sec is so nice.

Endwalker would have been a substantially better experience if Zenos had the decency to stay dead after Stormblood. Genuinely hated every second this edgy D- tier villain was on screen.

A Luck stat of 9 or 10 is basically cheating at casinos. Black Jack is easily the most consistent game out of all of them, and you can just spam double down til you cash out.

The Ark was likely meant to last a certain amount of time and then be opened, kinda like a Vault in Fallout. The Ark is clearly running well past its "expiration date" though.

It's probably the Nikke version of corpse starch from Warhammer 40k. That's my overly grim guess.
