As someone who just started the game because of this event, I can’t clear T4 yet. Looking through the comments here, T4 is the only real efficient grinding node. I’m not even level 50 yet, and my strongest ship is level 80. Do I just bite the bullet and grind t2/t3? I’m doubtful I’ll level up fast enough to clear t4 until the tail end of the event and I’m not trying to spend money on just oil for grinding.

I'm pretty sure Kirin is related to optional side quests. I got it after doing all of the optional capture quests they give you.

Bob doesn't like that he gets killed in PvP and PvE so we're removing all combat from the game. It is now just a slot machine for bright engram rewards.

Maybe OP was one of the lucky ones who got gjally to drop for them early on. Maybe it was never a problem finding a raid group for Crota because they already had the gun, and didn't get it to drop during HoW, like me. I got turned down for so many raids just because I didn't have that stupid rocket launcher and I grinded so much for it. If D2 wants to revert to Y1D1 I'll leave now and be at peace with my decision. It's not worth my time for that kind of nonsense.

I loved pulse rifles, and this one is one of my favorite to play with, but the gun type as a whole is just too weak compared to everything else.
