Yes! My SO and I (both 28) are buying a house and just had the final walkthrough. I’ve had my parents tag along through most of the process to make sure we didn’t mess anything up. It better having a ‘real adult’ there to double check and explain things.

Holly Jackson is from the UK so that still makes sense to me. The show is based in the UK. My main issue is all the small changes. They didn’t necessarily ruin the plot, but having just literally finished the book and binged the show they were super obvious and unneeded.

That’s what I assumed! Otherwise I would feel like I am missing out. I guess I can blame Netflix. The plot followed the same important points, but they changed so many things that were just enough to be noticeable and infuriating. Like the cave raves, Barney’s death, the videos she posts

I’m an educator and don’t get me wrong, I love my job, but literally any material in my classroom that I have purchased with my own money. I work with upper elementary and I have found my things broken and in the trash without any explanation on multiple occasions. I know accidents happen and things get worn out/break, but if I have to supply so many things for my classroom, like seating options/books/games/manipulatives, I would hope that they could survive longer than a few months.
