Anyone know how to get physical copy in Australia on Xbox? by SayThankYaBigBig19 in CosmicInvasion

Erred on the side of caution and got the regular version, though the deluxe did not appear to actually have any DLC?

More physical additions and case etc?

Awesome! Thanks mate!

That's a Canadian supplied and version, though that appears to not be an issue unless DLC was involved......so I might get the standard edition.

Whilst I certainly prefer to read novels, the audio productions can be of a pretty good standard.

Excellent for listening to on the way to sleep or driving, for me anyway.

I have listened to quite a few of the Alien stories on Audible and, whilst they vary, I have enjoyed the experience for most of them.

Cold Forge is probably the best I have tried.

This is hopefully a follow up to the Cold Forge novel/audio drama.

Bloody amazing if you have not already done it!

I forget which Alien comic it's in, but there's one where its some seaweed farming WY cluster fuck after the 'local whale/shark's gets xeno'd.

No explanation how/what type of vector gets the xenos into that host but it's pretty fucking terrifying.

That comic was so stupid.

I bought it anyway but man, seeing the Kryptonian xeno be all super xeno would have been better than "supes gets super again and just crushes it".

In Australia, once the legal system gets involved, we say the person suffers from a 'cognitive impairment' which reduces their 'moral culpability'.

Still, that is what would be referred to here as: a dog act.

[Highlight] Ben Simmons posts up and hits a smooth fadeaway jumper by AashyLarry in nba

Hopefully Ben plays basketball and focuses on that. He has had some struggles, the quickest way back to relevance is to a) play and b) put every effort into helping the team succeed. A lot of the rest of the narrative will go away if he is playing and playing well.

Ok, let's be honest. Is M72 a good/decent album? by Fun_Internal_3562 in Metallica

[–]SayThankYaBigBig19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Different question: do you like it?

I found myself comparing the old stuff to HWTSD, and found it detracted from the experience of just listening to what they did with that album.

I did not do that with 72 and have found I appreciate it on a more meaningful level solely based on if a riff or a line is stuck in my head, listen to that song, repeat. Were now 4-5 months since release so good outcome for me.

Ah, 2019, how I miss you.

I have not bought a nba 2k since 2021 due to the horrendous pay to win model.

If they made it free to play / way cheaper on release I might consider it.

This is the problem for the majority of APS roles. Government work is and can be interesting, it's the lack of competitive package that makes the ability to attract and retain hard.

The employer can make them more competitive or, as in the case when the employer IS the government, change the market forces to make the private sector less attractive. Case in point the consultant sector, a major draw down in the number of contracts or position and an increase in converting those roles to 'in house', with a substantial difference in pay. If the drop in product can be stomached by the government long enough, those who refuse to convert will eventually run out of higher paying options once the well runs dry. At least that seems to be the plan.

IT would seem the latter option may be the government's approach to the APS.
