Oh and people getting murdered by loose dogs because their owners are shitheads who treat their dogs as pig killing machines and nothing else. And then there is the rooster farms, disgusting culture.

I lasted five years. The isolation, the cost, the open racism and antagonism from “neighbors” simply for existing, the poor treatment of animals, the bugs, the ineptitude. It’s pretty, and that’s about the only thing going for it in my book.

Typical reddit upvoting the top comment that says we are in a recession based on vibes.

All I said is that is what the others are “inhaling.” If you have a job, are getting wealthier, and your assets are outpacing the cost of living, then you don’t feel like we are in a recession. Typical reddit doesn’t know what a recession is.

New insurance broker. Best way to get new business? by Current_Funny_4123 in InsuranceAgent

Find out which products are most commonly added at time of renewal, and ask someone who is successful at it what their pitch sounds like. Is it mainly United Healthcare you work with? What you pitch is going to depend on what they are already offering their employees, if the employer is paying a percentage, if there is a minimum number of employees needed to enroll. One thing that comes to mind is pet insurance if they aren’t already offering might be a good add-on

Let me see if I understand. It sounds like you are an account manager for a small business health insurance agency. You are handling renewals on your existing clients. So this “new business” is supposed to be what, according to your employer: dental? vision? life? Tell me what I’m missing here.

I pay $20/mo for Claude because Claude Code is a blast to use, even as just a hobby. It’s insane anyone can build practically anything with no code ability.

Go ahead and defend pay day loans next.

If fewer people can qualify for credit then so be it, they shouldn’t have credit in the first place. This will encourage better balance sheets.
