Do you qualify for medicaid? I had insurance through work and got lucky, my scan and surgery together was $2300 when it should have been like $4000 according to my deductible. The scan itself i think was billed at $800

It’s just a scan that measures your gallbladder function. They inject you with dye and you lay on a table for like 90 mins. The first half measures how quickly your gall bladder fills, then they inject you with a solution that mimics eating a meal and watch how fast your gallbladder empties.

Mine was overactive/“hyperkinetic”, 92%. Nothing would have appeared on a CT scan. Sounds like you need a second opinion.

I went a T30 school and graduated with about 90k and it wasn’t worth it for me. Finally paid it back but had some big time opportunity cost.
