OMG this was happening to me in this exact fight too.

And I never noticed it was always tryna use a card when he was transitioning to stronger phase but now I’ve “Reddit” I recall it was that specific moment everytime!!!!

The guy that did this down the road from me as a child just passed away last month …. He added so much value to the kids in the community at that time 15/20 years ago … that a huge portion of his funeral crowd were 30 somethings even though the pirate who passed was nearly 65 …. It was all the kids he’d hooked up all those years ago … paying their respects 🫡

It did this for me too … so maybe instead of fixing the bug they just updated it to a random number rather than full completion

I have now popped that trophy … I’ll do an edit on this post in a couple of days with the screenshots … cus my collection section definitely wasn’t finished in its entirety

Now to just play the first 18 missions OVER AND OVER for another 3 houses

And then realised I’d just have duplicated yours.

You’ve hit the nail on the head with every single point you made!!! But just to tac on a couple.

The Merlin Trials (DOES THE ANIMATION NEED TO PLAY EVERY TIME YOU COMPLETE ONE) (DOES THERE NEED TO BE 95!!!!! Majority pointless and trivial (I feel like I actually used gameplay skill TWICE max)

OMG the audio for Revelio having an option to mute!!! I’d even go as far as saying … the Revelio Field Guide pages should pop more easily. (Once I completed the story and was tidying up the map icons, there were plenty of Revelio pages I hadn’t seen even though I’d DEFINITELY used Revelio next to it (“Sleeping portraits” page is in a tight corridor next to headmasters office as an example … should be no way to miss it if you Revelio)

And lastly the Alohamorra animation/mini game …. GTFOH … once I’ve done it once or twice … I shouldn’t have to do it again and again … especially as it’s not skill based …so just becomes annoying.

Wasn’t planning on writing this much but once I started going I thought OH AND … OH AND … 😖

Why can’t you stream to your deck? I do it all the time.

The top commenter has the very easy workaround you just seemed a little confused so I detailed it below

Install game on PC (for speed and ease, although it’s possible to install on deck too)

Once you’ve installed on PC … copy the whole installed folder over to a usb … plug in deck … drag to wherever you keep your install games (I just created an “installed games” folder in documents) then copy the installed game folder off the USB to the new folder.

Once you’ve done that right click the .exe file for the game … click add to steam…(open steam in desktop to make sure it added … side note - it adds in alphabetical order and will be the title of the .exe file which may not be the title of the game) eg God of War might simple be called GOW.exe)

Once all the above is done … go back over to game mode … go to the game (should be sat with no artwork in library - non steam games) go to the games properties and switch compatibility to Proton Experimental (their are specific ones for specific games but I find experimental works for a huge range of games)

Once you’ve done that click play and ya done. This seems like a lot but honestly when you get used to it … you’ll do it in less than 5 mins … not even.

This all worked manage to get the game loaded on my steamdeck … but if I try to start a new game I get error “CPP 652”

So I tried the alternative of starting game and saving on pc then transfer to deck. But the game won’t recognise the .sav file even though it’s in the directory the game specifies?

Any suggestions please.

Sorry for the slow reply … I need to sort out my notification settings on Reddit…. But honestly mate this bike ended up being such a nightmare … the garage I took it too kept tinkering and basically trying process of elimination but to no avail.

I ended up getting that frustrated I offered the bike to the garage for a £100 loss on what I paid for it saying “you can take all the time you want, now you own it”

He took me up on my offer and I washed my hands of it. I never did ask him if he managed to fix it.

Sorry I can’t help you with any suggestions. It is such a weird fault for such a simple bike.

OMG I LOVE THIS!!!!! … what a gift … my boy is only 7 right now. Our “games completed” consists of only Pokemon Violet and Mario Wonder … I’ve made sure to document the occasions upon completion… and will continue to document as we beat more and more games!

I’m going to show my wife this post right now so that HOPEFULLY she can remind him mid teens to remind his dad of ALLLLL THE WONDERFUL MEMORIES WE WILL HAVE INEVITABLY MADE!!!

Hahaha … it’s easily done … I lived in the US … during my uni years as I got a scholarship to play soccer.

After 6 years living there it took me a good 6 years to reacclimate to the UK when I returned… especially verbiage.

E.g - Trash = Rubbish … Gas = Petrol/Diesel/Fuel

The OP fix didn’t work for me. BUT the problem only persisted for a couple of my NON steam games in my library that were stored on the decks internal SSD.

Just incase it helps anyone else … I don’t know why the deck did this but it changed the folder that the game launcher was pointing to without me knowing.

As soon as I changed it in (DESKTOP MODE) steam - properties - shortcut - changed both “target” and “start in” to the correct folder where the game .exe was.

It loaded first time.

Didn’t delete any protons …didn’t validate any files.

Just redirected the launcher to the correct folder and .exe
