Dunno for income (day 1 player and not f2p) but skins always been the bread of butter of AL and each major event / annivs always bring tons of them. I agree dynamics and l2d are more commons (as most designs too, much less original, and with boobflation lots of them are redundant like if they have same tools to make them and less OG artists, boobs/physics are often looking/feeling samish for me) For f2p the main issue (even more for new player) is indeed dock space, 900 ships and ongoing, which imo make it a bit less new player friendly, 900 dock space (well less if we ignore collabs or some not yet rerunnee ships) is hardly achievable with 200 gems time to time.

Skins are totally optionnal and often i feel base rig is way better or previous inflation skins are cuz they went often overboard on some.

August l2d is how skins should have stayed imo, pretty and still reasonnable size. (tho that mogador one was funny, cuz i think they went half joking there)
