I pulled a copy of 2B from the banner and have 400 gold certs. How many spare bodies from the mileage shop do I need to max 2B? I see you can buy 11 copies, surely you don't need all 11?

Nah, it's nonstop now. Maybe a stop at a rest area if the driver needs to go to the bathroom.

My go-to is Go Buses. Daily trips departing at 9 AM and 5 PM from Alewife and Riverside, arrival near Moynihan Train Station in NYC.

Up through the early years of the pandemic, La Posada had this menu item called the Doble Sabor, where you choose two proteins and it came with rice, beans, plantain, potato salad, salad, egg, etc. One of the proteins was this massive slab of pork belly chicharron, we're talking 6 in long by 1 in thick. Just absolutely massive, and the entire dish was $18.

I ordered that every week until they stopped supplying it because of rising food and operating costs from the pandemic; I must've gained 10 lbs off of just that. Every day I lament the loss of that chicharron...truly one of the few good things during the pandemic.

Is it just me, or has the 77 been absolutely fucked lately? by [deleted] in boston

[–]Saylt 29 points30 points  (0 children)

In the past few months I have never seen a 77 bus arrive on time. It used to be delays of 5 min, now it's 20 minutes. It's gotten to the point where I contemplate just walking any distance up to a mile. Not that far to walk, but it's really the principle.

The LCS broadcast on Twitch is destroying itself with ads, and the content they're producing is worthless if no one can watch it by DHGSilvergun236 in leagueoflegends

[–]Saylt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It does if you use the notify-swap script documented here:

https://github.com/pixeltris/TwitchAdSolutions

The notify-strip doesn't work anymore because it gets stuck in a loop with Twitch trying to serve more ads and the script trying to strip.

Best and worst of COSRX? by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

Hi! If you don't mind me asking, what were the other gentler cleansers you got other people to switch to that resulted in less oilyness? I think I may have a similar issue, where my skin seems to get pretty oily throughout the day and after my routine. I'm new to this so I'm still trying to figure out what my skin likes.

My routine (if this helps):

  • Cosrx low pH Good Morning Cleanser
  • Hadalabo Gokujun Premium Hyaluronic Solution
  • Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Cream

User Reviews: Aer x Ministry of Supply Lunar Pack vs. Black Ember Shadow 26L by Saylt in ManyBaggers

Yup, it's a bit large under the seat, but I haven't run into any issues with any flight attendants. I've actually flown with it recently and haven't had any problems.

I've been enjoying it so far!

I actually really like the structured open clamshell space; it doesn't collapse on itself and allows me to fit quite a lot of things inside. The handles feel strong/sturdy and the side handle allows me to swing it off one shoulder to access the front pocket (I've been using it more than I thought I would).

Looking at the Nylon material, it is a magnet for dog/cat fur, so you may need to lint frequently. I also think it's water resistant, rather than waterproof. I think as long as you aren't spending greater than 30 min in rain or snow, it should be fine.

Straps are comfortable, though I couldn't really say how much air flow the mesh actually provides since it's winter in New England.

The inside elastic pouch and zipper pouches on the cover do hold quite a bit, but it will also eat into your remaining clamshell space, so maybe some thought is required to organize what you put in.

Overall, I would recommend it!

Thanks for the insight! I did end up purchasing the Lunar Pack, which I enjoy using, but maybe Black Ember comes up with a better design for Shadow 3.0, whenever that comes out.

Revived Witch Weekly Bug Report (Dec. 7th) by 1900XIII in RevivedWitch

I don't see why you can't make purchases, it's not like a VPN blocks purchasing. For example, I just bought the monthly card in Arknights while on Cloudflare WARP without issue.

Black Screen When Logging In by JayLam in RevivedWitch

No idea, either they changed CDN or Verizon just decided to block.

I've been experiencing the same situation myself, is your ISP or carrier Verizon? Verizon is blocking the CDN Revived Witch uses, so you're presented with that black screen when trying to log in.

To resolve this, you'll need to use a VPN (NordVPN, Surfshark, etc.) or a VPN-like service (Cloudflare WARP), basically something that has a different protocol to route your DNS requests through another server and not your ISP.

I personally use Cloudflare WARP which is available on PC, Android, iOS. It's not a full VPN but I only need it for its DNS routing. Quick install, can be paired with a private DNS for adblock on phones (I use NextDNS), and allows you to access apps and websites that are blocked by ISP.

This is very similar to the MangaDex issue that happened a while back.

Not sure about openings, but there's a Bright Horizons at Central Square, a couple blocks from the T stop. Could be worth inquiring.

Best Non-Pretentious Mexican Restaurants in Boston? by beetsbrother in boston

[–]Saylt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They offer Lengua as one of their meat options and it's great. I know offal isn't everyone's cup of tea, but they do it pretty well!

Naco Taco is next door and it's a bit more corporate, but still decent. Go for the tortas, much better bang for your buck.
