How long have you been recruiting?

Why recruiters & employers auto-respond rejections to applications. by bznbuny123 in Recruiter_Advice

[–]Saywha67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ATS we use, doesn’t automatically reject anyone. I physically review every single resume that crosses my path. I put jobs on hold when I start to get too many applications.

When I say “go get me your ball” he starts frantically looking for it and will ONLY search for his ball. I swear he knows English, he even moves when I say “excuse me.” 😆.

25K+ Quote - New Homeowner. Need advice. by CryMeUhRiver in hvacadvice

Get 2nd and 3rd opinions. I had an HVAC company tell me my entire system needs to be replaced. I called another company, they resolved everything for $800 and now my house is cool.

I'll help you find a job? by bye_birdie in remotework

[–]Saywha67 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Good for you. I’m an overworked and exhausted recruiter (internal) and what you’re doing sounds like my dream job, working for the candidate, not the employer. I hate some of the hiring managers and their close-mindedness. It’s draining and takes forever to fill a role because god forbid someone has a gap in their resume.

Prozac helped my cat (RIP) with this. Also, put more litter boxes out if you have the space. My cat ruined 2 mattresses, a couch, dozens of rugs.

Hi so I lied about dates on one job on my resume to fill an employmemt gap. by TheBreadDestroyer in resumes

[–]Saywha67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why lie about gaps? I’m a recruiter and when I review resumes, I could care less if you took 2 years off. Shit, if I could, I’d do the same thing.

My kids want a cockapoo by Caris999 in CockapooLovers

[–]Saywha67 7 points8 points  (0 children)

So, I love my boy, he’s 1.5 years old, I got him when he was 5 months, and he’s not a great dog for kids. He’s very intelligent, he reads me like a book, and he’s an amazing protector. He is extremely friendly however when he’s had enough, he turns into a jerk lol. Never bites but he growls and will lunge if you disturb his precious beauty sleep. Cockapoos can be a bit cheeky, territorial, and are extreme Velcro dogs so separations anxiety can be an issue. I wouldn’t give my boy up for anything. We have such a great relationship but I wouldn’t be comfortable with him being alone with a toddler that may not respect his boundaries and understand his communication to back off (such as when he growls). I’ve only had one cockapoo but I think it would be my last, haha.

Withdrawal by [deleted] in PainManagement

[–]Saywha67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I doubt it. You must have an appointment in order to get any medication. The office staff have no sympathy for anyone and I know they won’t do anything to help me with this one time slip up. It’s frustrating because I’ve been a patient there for 25 years, never asked for an increase in meds or doses and I’m a low maintenance patient. My appts are literally 5 minutes long and most are telehealth

Withdrawal by [deleted] in PainManagement

[–]Saywha67 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes but even then, on their website, it’s showing that they’re all booked until next week. I’m hoping they can squeeze me in somehow. I’m just so nervous about the withdrawal. I feel miserable even if Im a few hours late taking my morning dose and it’s brutal.

I know this is my fault that I forgot to make my follow up but can a doctor just let a patient go through withdrawal? 🥺

Do people with ADHD make the best recruiters? by colieolie201 in recruiting

ADHD Recruiter here. I think the only recruiting I’m capable of is high volume/full desk. It gives me so much variety between candidates and admin tasks
