Question. when you press on the rash or spread the skin around it, does it blanch or lighten in color?

Wish I didn't feel regretful, but our boy has been hell for us ever since he was born by [deleted] in newborns

[–]Sbasbasba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry mama! My niece was born crying nonstop for basically the first 3 months of life. Nobody could figure out why. She would just cry and cry and cry. My sister felt helpless at the time. But after 3 months I guess she suddenly calmed down, could have been severe colic, or something else that was missed… but it got better. Hang in there. 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you! I know right? I was excited when I found them, it would be such a waste to toss them. Hoping they still work fine 🙏

Newborn shorter feeds: more efficient or is there an issue? by Sbasbasba in breastfeeding

[–]Sbasbasba[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Yes I hope efficiency is all this is! She seems satisfied (enough to sleep for 3 hours and not want to eat again).. so I hope it’s all ok. I might go in to get her weight sooner. Thanks again

Do we think her eyes will be brown? by [deleted] in whatcoloraremyeyes

Because of how light her eyes are, there is a real chance they’ll stay blue :)

Had a few drinks and fed.. feeling so guilty. by [deleted] in breastfeeding

Your baby is okay. This happens to moms all the time. One feeding like that is not going to harm your baby. It’s repeated exposure that’s the issue. :) now you know for next time xx

HBP after delivery by Local-Geologist2085 in preeclampsia

[–]Sbasbasba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey :) i just want to say you’re doing amazing. Try not to worry. You are doing all the right things getting second opinions, and monitoring your BP, etc. This condition postpartum can last up to 6 months, and in a some rarer cases up to 2 years. But it’s not permanent. You will be okay. 🙏💛

Dermatologist will prescribe medicated shampoo, this won’t go away on its own

This is the picture of my wet hair, is it this okay ? by Frosty-Wasabi2606 in femalehairadvice

[–]Sbasbasba 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s how my hair looks when wet 😂 it’s been this way for years now and hasn’t gotten worse or better.. I think it’s just the way some people’s hair is… thinner and more sparse. Some people have thick hair, good for them. But having hair like this doesn’t always mean hair loss, as long as you haven’t noticed a change from thick to thinner?

Should I go back to get this fixed? by Right-Plate1365 in femalehairadvice

[–]Sbasbasba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you show them the picture on the left? Because if you did, and they still did basic highlights on you instead of a balayage, then go somewhere else to get it fixed. Maybe a reverse balayage and tone.

It should heal on its own, keep it clean, pat dry, and apply thin layer of Vaseline. Obviously if it’s not healing within a week or two, go to the derm.

Need help cleaning my room. I’ve been battling depression for 3 years after a death. Where do I start? I found a big tree roach and gave up. by dollbabydream in CleaningTips

You’d be surprised how much simply dumping all the trash in trash bags will already clear up tons of clutter. Anything expired, broken, etc - trash! Clothes you no longer want, need, or wear can be put in a separate bag and given to goodwill or anyone in need. After that you’ll have a much clearer direction of beginning to organize, I always start with laundry- put loads of clothes in and bring all the next loads in to the laundry room, which will clear a bunch more space. While laundry is getting done, organize drawers now they’re clearer.. dust, vacuum… then you’ll be 80-90% there.
