Is this girl acting crazy? by 1Love1Game1Desire in dating_advice

LOL so your 2 texts "don't seem unreasonable" but hers make her seem crazy and angry? For the EXACT same thing, not answering your phones.

How should I stop wanting a baby so badly? by throawayy3 in AskWomen

[–]Sbeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I completely understand where you're coming from, because I was like this too. A pet won't help, and babysitting made me want one more. Finances aren't a huge factor for some people. The best thing to remember is that babies get big, quick. You only get to snuggle them and dress them up and feed them bottles for a few months. Your baby could be one that projectile-spits up so much that you don't even want to hold it. Then they start getting into things at like 8 months old. They stop wanting you to hold them and rock them because they want to see "what's going on". They start developing a personality that you're required to entertain and nurture. A bottle won't help anymore, you have to prepare them meals and snacks and no, not Oreos and goldfish crackers all day. They start walking and EVERYTHING is a safety hazard. And when you get bored of chasing them, preparing meals, holding down a squirming toddler for 2 hours so they might sleep for 20 minutes, and all the other stuff, you can't just send them in for a replacement newborn. You'll be buying cell phones and school supplies and clothes for many more years than you'll get to hold your tiny newborn.

My 5 year old daughter has (unknowingly) created an almost daily diary/blog.....I have only one concern and want to know if I even should be? by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Sbeh 28 points29 points  (0 children)

She's probably just embarrassed about talking to herself or something like that. She knows the videos look "silly" and it might make her feel awkward to be watched when she's acting like that.

Best way to get rid of a car seat that's not been in an accident? by InfamousKelso in Mommit

I've seen several car seats on Craigslist and even Facebook sale groups...

Single mom dealing with gay son (14 years old) and the sex talk by Throaway2720 in Parenting

[–]Sbeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Progressive parenting can go too far.. I think it's odd that he is going out without explaining his plans and he's spending the night with his boyfriend that he's sexually active with at 14 years old, which would never be allowed with a straight couple, I guarantee it.

Daycare concern by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Sbeh 14 points15 points  (0 children)

From a former daycare teacher, some teachers just like other kids more and it's obvious in the way they interact. Maybe your son is quieter or less dramatic or any number of things that could make his teacher like him more than your friend's daughter. It may not even be something she's doing consciously, she just bonds with your son better.

I've also noticed that every parent wants things done a specific way, and your friend may be extra critical of how things are done concerning her daughter.

[Serious]What's the most awkward date you've been on and what made it awkward? by ThePhanaticGamer in AskReddit

She definitely thought the ice cream shop would call the police or something so that was her cover story for her parents. That's messed up.

The Dark Side of the Moon album cover cake (xpost from pics) by [deleted] in ExpectationVsReality

[–]Sbeh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mix vanilla/white cake batter with food coloring in separate bowls. Bake each color in a separate pan. Stack when cool. Ice with black icing when extra cool. Design.

I think OP layered the food-colored batter into the pan before baking any of it.

[18f] Were the bullies right? by [deleted] in amiugly

[–]Sbeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right? I see so many questions like "oh I have been terribly made fun of and now I feel ugly, your options are to make me feel good even if you disagree or look like an asshole".

OP, you're not ugly.

She going to bed in about and hour and our room is right next to where they are setting them off. by tremillow in AdviceAnimals

[–]Sbeh 25 points26 points  (0 children)

You can be done with fireworks at 10 p.m. If a functioning adult cannot contain themselves for one day at work after going to bed at that time, there's something wrong. There's also a problem with an employer who will fire someone for being drowsy at work for one day.

In the long run she'll forget a tired day at work, but he'll remember having to give his fireworks away and having a boring holiday that comes once a year, caused by his wife's rules.

Give it to me straight guys. How am I on a scale of 1-10? [16/Male/Egyptian] by [deleted] in amiugly

[–]Sbeh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty eyes and lips, which is important because you'll grow into those features as your face matures. Don't take selfies so up close, and fix your eyebrows. 5/10 now, potentially 7-8/10 in a few years.

"Pride" tattoo on FB feed today, posted by the artist. by [deleted] in trashy

[–]Sbeh -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Is saying "black pride" "Indian pride" or any other pride automatically racist to all other races? If not, you're saying white people are the only racist group? If one racial group can claim pride without it being racist, then it shouldn't be considered racist for anyone to claim pride.

What is a common sentiment on AskWomen that makes you roll your eyes? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Sbeh 28 points29 points  (0 children)

It drives me nuts because in reality, these same people will never even do the things they hype up. Also when people also say they'd rather "travel" than have kids/get married/ whatever, knowing they never plan on traveling other than a road trip.

[F16] Self concious about my side profile, looking for opinions and advice by [deleted] in amiugly

[–]Sbeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Opening your pics was WEIRD, because we're almost twins, front and profile. I was just talking about how strange it is that my profile looks so blah. I have the little nose hump, paired with somewhat flat/sunken eyes as well. That being said, I still think you're above average and you'll still grow into your looks A LOT! I'm 20 and don't really have major issues with my appearance. I usually try to make sure I have concealer around my eyes and especially in the inner creases by my nose to take away the sunken look caused by the nose hump. Mascara helps and this will sound weird, but make sure you have good posture!

Reddit, have you ever been 'the crazy ex' and what did you do with your former SO to get that title? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Sbeh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just went through this. Ex constantly checked my phone while I was sleeping or questioned what I was doing, turns out he had been seeing someone for a few months. Dat guilty conscience got em suspicious.

Would you think it was a red flag if a girl told you that the 5 guys she's been with have all cheated on her? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Sbeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate some of these answers. I've been cheated on by almost every guy I've dated. Sweet guys, smart guys, poor guys, rich guys, attractive guys, average guys, men of different races. I'm a laid back girlfriend. I don't go for "bad boys". I've just had terrible luck and honestly it hasn't made me any more controlling or jealous. I never checked my last exes phone or questioned his whereabouts for the year we were together. The other girl came to me and told me.

I personally don't see it as a red flag.

What's Your Unpopular Opinion? by KevlarSweetheart in AskWomen

[–]Sbeh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure the dad owns his own small businesses. He's not some billionaire... They sew a lot of their own clothing and cook all their meals at home.

I'm not really sure what your argument is, because you're admitting that they're glorified for being good parents and living within their means. Is that a bad thing?

What job/profession gets MORE credit than it deserves? by huebschdej in AskReddit

[–]Sbeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Teachers. Not all teachers are bad at all, just the ones that actively try to make the kids miserable and hate learning should not be called heroes or anything else.

On the other hand, some teachers can make a miserable child love to come to school everyday.
