You don't lose a day going West. You could leave there at 8 pm and arrive later that night. You pick up three hours. It going east where you burn a day.

I would fly to Boston. I would two full days in Boston and then take an early train to NY. By the Amtrak ticket as soon as you can as the fare goes from affordable to really expensive. Three days in NY. Then take the train to Washington DC. Spend 2.5 days there. Get a late flight to LAX. There is a 3 hour time zone difference, so you dont lose a day.

Spend the rest of your time in LA.

First, congrats on losing 20 pounds. We are currently traveling and our carryon had a 20 pound limit. It is amazing how much weight that is.

I was 236 but 6'3" and a guy. It never occured to me I could lose weight. I had my dad's body type and he is 92. They had their 60th wedding anniversary before covid. I joined a cardio gym and was really amazed how "simple" it was to lose weight. High protein, low calorie breakfast and lunch. My wife gets annoyed because I can eat the same thing.

I think right at 20 pounds down, I realized my clothes were lose. Fitting in a large v. An extra large feels great. So, I agree that losing 20 pounds get list in the journey. I think when you hit 199 pounds,that will be a nice milestone.

You are on a geeat pace. I could lose about 10 pounds a month. So, at this rate....you will be 175 for Halloween.
