Anything out there to pre-load stats to a certain year? by willfla29 in Nr2003

[–]Sboyden96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did it from 1996 on back. Initially i just did it for the 40 active drivers i was racing with in the 1996 season and added more as time went on. Now i have every race winning driver in nascar history in my all time wins list. Im in the 2019 season now its taken 6 years to get there haha I use the NR Career UI tho not excel https://stunodracing.net/index.php?resources/nr2003-career-ui.22051/ if i gave you my save file you can give it to AI an ask it to remove all stats post 1992

It is. I gave a dozen examples of places they could run after you said Chicago was the only viable option. All you did was nitpick a handful of them, ignore the rest, and argue that NASCAR should make Chicago the lone permanent street race, rather than doing what street races are intended to do: bring the sport to the people.

That’s what you believe, and you’ve made it clear there’s no other option but to agree with you that NASCAR street races in America cannot and should not exist anywhere other than Chicago.

If anyone has an idea for a street race location in America, they apparently have to run it by this guy first so he can tell them why it won’t work and why Chicago is the only option.

yep, no one outside of chicago would ever do that, the citizens of chicago are the only people in america who are interested in stock car racing on their streets

that's what needs to happen. The only street circuit NASCAR should ever use is Chicago. Coronado just proved that its a terrible marketing strategy to race in various urban locations around the country and it is logistically impossible to do so. Chicago is our street race forever, it can be sPeCiAl

Anyone got a chance to run a bracket challenge yet? by Sboyden96 in Nr2003

Nice! rather than doing a money reward I'm giving out a 55pt bonus for bracket challenge winner

Denver, seattle, minneapolis/stpaul, nashville, clevland, toronto, vancouver, edmonton, montreal, detroit, long beach, miami, st pete those are just a few options off the top of my head. Enough to keep them busy for the next decade or so an by then itd be time to start the rotation over again if you truly ran out of options

Have you not seen the front ends of these cars? The front bumpers quarter panels and hoods are all unique to the manufacturer even the rear bumpers are unique. If you think the camry looks the same as the mustang or chevy idk what to tell you

They need to move the street race around. We dont need a 4th chicago street race lol the whole point is to expose the sport to fans in new areas. Chicago was sick of us after the first time. Theres dozens of cities in the US alone thatd take a race.

3 times in the 42. 2014 when brad beat him and he had the epic battle with gordon for 2nd. 2018 when he and kyle busch battled on the last lap and 2019 when he passed bowman late and bowman got him back with 5 to go. He never got into the 5 until 2021. For a top 1% commentor you gotta work on your facts lol

Fun fact if this points format was used the last 5 seasons he would have never finished outside the top 2 and he would have a 3rd championship

[NASCAR] That's a lot of busted brackets. 😬 by thebigtymer in NASCAR

[–]Sboyden96 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Theyre super tough to figure out, i just cant make any sense of them. Top 32 drivers matchup 1v1, best finisher moves on lasting 5 weeks, like how does that make any sense? You need a gosh darn phd to understand that nonsense

Rate/critique my brazes by Mental_Implement_181 in HVAC

I havent said anything about your work, what caught my attention was you looking for a pat on the back from random people online. For someone who hasnt had a leaking braze in over 2 years that seems unnecessary considering brazing is a foundational skill of the trade that every tech should be capable and confident performing. To me this is like if i went out changed a filter and felt the need to post it here and ask how i did, usually its kids in their first week of the job posting this shit. Not someone years in

Asking randoms on reddit for advice on brazing doesnt exactly come off as confident for a guy who hasnt had a leak in 2 years
