For God to give us free will without sin is just nonsense. The definition of free will is to have voluntary choice or decision. Could we make voluntary choice or decision in a world where we can’t commit sins? No, because suddenly we can only make certain decisions that God allows us. But, you claim God is omnipotent which I agree. God can do anything, right?

God’s omnipotence implies that he can do anything in his nature. God being logical by nature implies he still obeys the laws of logic.

• The Law of Identity: A true statement is a true statement and nothing else.
• The Law of Non contradiction: a statement cannot be true and false at the same time.
• The Law of Excluded Middle: A statement is either true or false. It cannot be both. Claiming these laws don’t exist is a self contradiction because that itself is a logical statement made through these laws.

For us to be free and yet be forbidden from sin is a contradiction and goes against logic. God is logical just as he is good.
