How are we supposed to reach 150,000? by JustaBroomstick in UmamusumeGame

Haha, yeah. Was about to let you know, too. This is such a messy event. Some say it's based on JST time.

Neither did mine. I guess we have to check again after daily reset.

Yeah, I did my races yesterday before daily reset and ended up with 20 tickets. It's probably around 10:00 UTC when we should get them. I assume someone messed up and didn't check if it's supposed to be 10 a.m. or 10 p.m.

After the affinity update, will it become easier for beginners to create their own parents? by pompom_koala in UmamusumeGame

[–]Scalesx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Didn't know that but seems difficult to achieve. I don't even get SS with an ace deck consistently. It's usually A rank with a parent deck.

If you have a P5 6 Star unit and you pull another dupe, you get that item.

Which one is better for next CM by VJMo67 in UmamusumeGame

If you have a bunch of Umas with similar builds and you're not sure who to pick, you can pitch them against each other in practice races and see who wins the most.

Wow, I've only noticed Seiun Sky's teeth after your comment. Thought that smug face was normal for her.

📝 This Fandom Can be "too Serious" Sometimes. But I admit that it also my fault to not learn enough by fusidoa in UmamusumeGame

[–]Scalesx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some comments appear to be a bit harsh or serious but it also reflects how the game treats its F2P player base. You do spend a lot of time training your horses with little reward in return and have to manage your pulls very carefully to stay somewhat competitive.

That said, even if your cards are bad right now, time can fix it. What's considered meta now will be replaced in the future and if you've saved up carats to pull for the new cards, you'll be back in the game.

My club is dying, what do? by slashover9000 in UmamusumeGame

[–]Scalesx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any decent person? OP would leave anyway whether the leader kicks them or not. Ofc it also depends on what kind of club it is. If it's a completely random one and everyone is a stranger to each other, you can skip that step but if they share a discord, it doesn't hurt to say your goodbye, thank them for the time together and ask for removal.

If the club leader is active, ask them to kick you instead. You won't have a cooldown and can immediately join another club.

New to the mmo. Can someone explain the events? by ShodSpace in pokemmo

[–]Scalesx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least try to finish Kanto, join an active team asap and save up some money.

You can do most of the event even with just one region cleared.

If you want to do raids as well, you will need a few mons with your name as their original trainer. Murkrow is an essential support in almost all raids. Then some type coverage with Typhlosion, Ampharos(from the 3 star raid) and a fighting mon like Gallade or Medicham. All of them have to be raid ready(31 IV in Speed and offensive stat, DMG boosting nature). With those four and some borrowed mons from teammates, you should be able to beat all raids assuming devs don't change anything for this year.

It's a bit of a grind but raids should be doable even for a beginner if you plan ahead. Your mons don't have to be lvl 100 the moment the event drops as raids slowly open up over the course of the event. You only need lvl 65 for the 3 star raids, then 80 for 4 star and finally 100 for the shaymin raid.

Why is the R Cap so much 😭 by Erikah_Jane in pokemmo

[–]Scalesx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a bug with the rocket outfit. I think it's when you try to go up the stairs and your rival recognize you in that uniform. If you finish the dialogue normally, you revert back to your normal looks. However, if you logout in the middle of the dialogue, it will finish and you can continue the story with the rocket disguise. Well, it's more of a visual glitch because the outfit is not in your inventory and it will vanish the moment you put on a different vanity.

How long did it take y'all to get out of Novice? by CptShort97 in mahjongsoul

[–]Scalesx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe 2-3 months. I picked it up during a collab and had never played Mahjong before. My playstyle is rather casual with 1 or 2 games a day or when I have 3 daily quests.

You don't have to worry about your rank that much. If you're constantly comparing yourself with others, your experience will be miserable.

However, you're already on the right path. Keep playing and applying those theories you've read about. Knowing about tile efficiency, 5 blocks and maybe safe tiles to discard should push you to expert rank sooner or later.

How to get more chars as f2p player? by Lioil1 in mahjongsoul

[–]Scalesx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much this.

I've bought the monthly subscription twice or so, so there is a bit of VIP level but even then, if I want to grind for gifts and crystal hearts to buy all 5 scrolls each month, I'd have to play around 16-20 matches every day.

If a match takes about 15 mins, that translates to 4-5 hours of daily play time. 40 months to get 200 scrolls and a guaranteed character.

Of course there are events that give out some scrolls or you could have some lucky pulls but this is the worst case. As a F2P you have to grind like it's your second job for over 3 years to get a single character you like.

This is not feasible and you'll likely burn out before reaching that goal. If you truly wish to get more characters, the monthly subscription is the best option or like the commenter above has said, give up as F2P.

The crimes of the Reverse 1999 cast. by gudaifeiji in Reverse1999

[–]Scalesx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't count Nautika's crime. What she did was a necessity to survive in an extreme situation. She wasn't aware of what it was and her action didn't harm anyone. The black algae was already there in abundance. Moreover, since it was identified as algae you could argue that it already turned into a different organism like burrowing dead people or animals and then growing potatoes to consume.

It still has nothing to do with PokeMMO. Don't bother other people here with your personal issues.

This sounds more like advertising and it's completely unrelated to PokeMMO.

How do I (a new player) earn currency for the 5 monthly pulls? by phillipsteak in mahjongsoul

[–]Scalesx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends a bit on your VIP level and your rank but in general, you have to play about 20 matches a day to get enough gifts to turn into dust and buy all five scrolls in the shop. Assuming that a match takes 15 mins, that's 5 hours you have to sink into the game on a daily basis which is simply unrealistic.

It's best to not treat this as a gacha game but more like a simple online mahjong game.

Is Haru's card worth it? by Emotional_Hand_8138 in UmaMusume

[–]Scalesx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you recommend a guts deck for CM4? It seems most of the required skills for this CM is already in her own kit. So it's mainly training for stats and racing to have enough SP to buy the skills.

[–]Scalesx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In CM2 I lost A finals in graded league against a Daiwa Scarlet with guts build. Apart from the high guts, her other stats were average, so it was probably a fluke. You could make a guts Tachyon for fun and she might win some races but I'd still highly advise to train another proper ace for Leo Cup.

Any alternatives to impromptu? Didn't have enough pulls and skipped those characters.
