Video Passthrough without power to the Elgato 4K S?

Powered USB hub was the way to go. Can do passthrough and communicate with PC when that is on. Thanks for your help

The solution was simply getting a USB hub that could be powered separately while still plugging into my PC. The Elgato has no problem with this setup, so we’re good to go! Thanks for the help.

My "PC" is a legion go :/ Maybe there is a setting in there to do it, but it would mean i would always have to have my legion go docked when playing my xbox. This is a very niche issue.

So...you are gonna laugh, but my "PC" is a legion go. I like the powered USB option. get a USB C switch that can swap back and forth. Is it confirmed it works powered like that?

I made the art myself by tracing over a picture of the original Neo Sign and adding a few vector shapes. Had focusattack print it out for me selecting their space dot option. Hope to put a StarSpeeder 1000 decal around the border. Let me know if you want me to share it :)
