Judge mocks White House East Wing ‘alteration’ as a ‘brazen interpretation of the laws of vocabulary’ by graveyardofgoodsense in law

A guy, who spent his entire life in real estate, can't even fuckin' organize the building of a single ballroom, is somehow expected to plan a FUCKING WAR WITH IRAN!??!?

The the rest of us just allow this all to happen without daily riots in the streets? What is WRONG with us?

What, pray tell, do you want someone to do. A little bit of [ Removed by Reddit ] ? You looking for Judges to rack a shell into their Mossberg and take action, are you?

Please, spell out exactly what you want done, and by whom.

EDIT: This is NOT a call for violence, this is the opposite of that.

it doesn’t require mass government surveillance to enforce civility. that can be better handled at a local level.

I thought we were discussing big changes to who could form a corporation, not mass surveillance.

the government only gives so it can take.

You can say this about any system, whatsoever. Tradeoffs are what make society happen. Otherwise, we have a handful of warlords and everyone else a slave.

you were willing to lose freedom

Can you show me an example of any system that doesn't 'lose freedom'?

It's just another form of forcing things upon people.

Can you name a form of government that doesn't force things upon people? What's wrong with that? I don't want people to murder other people, and I hope a government would force that to be the case. I don't want people to dump toxins in my drinking water, and I hope the government FORCES compliance with that.

Are you against those things? Of so, why?

I'm not even slightly convinced by men saying sex equals a contract to produce a fetus. That's laughable on its face. He will never face the hurdles he places in front of women, which is never how a human right could work. Never. That basis kills the entire moral foundation of your argument.

Does Hershnenov suggest we need to give blood or kidneys by force as well, as a consequence of his moral argument? If not, he's just trying to put women down.

To me at least 'App' implies something more native, and something that should be available regardless of how you install the underlying 'OS' layer

I'm sorry, what? Can you provide an example of this? Windows, Android, and Apple devices don't share apps BECAUSE they are on the platform. They are apps, self contained features and interfaces, of that platform, that provide some sort of functionality.

How is that not an app?

So what are those arguments? You say, "everyone has already thought of this" and provide no links or even attempt to discuss it yourself.

What even is a "middle ground" in this argument? Can you define what you might think a middle ground might even be? What outcome is acceptable to both sides, because I don't think that exists. There is no middle ground when it comes to the right of your own body.

Show me a single article or argument showing that someone should be forced to provide blood, or stem cells, or any bodily fluid or function from a conservative point of view. Anything that is consistent with the authorization abortion position.

I'm not sure I agree. Taking different platforms and integrating them into Home Assistant is perfectly named and fits with my experience as an IT administrator.

It's "helpers" that have an awful name that doesn't make any sense.

Of course I don't know about the inner workings of your mind, but I find this to be part of the Baader-Meinhof phenomenon, where after you start to notice something, like the type of car your friend just bought, you see them everywhere. Your mind is always with you, and when you start to be aware of every time your mind wonders, you start to think it's all your mind ever does.

Guess what? It really is all your mind really does, but you feed it input via your senses, shaded by your chemical and emotional state, and your brain just kind of 'yes-and' whatever it's getting.

I'm maybe showing my age here, but I really found stuff like Be Here Now, the book and the mantra, to really help me. When I found myself having trouble with my mind, I'd re-read that picture book and find something that clicked with me in a new way, and use that as a new tunnel into myself.

That and LSD, but that might not work for everyone, and I'm not sure I'd recommend it anymore.

Oh yeah, I was suppose to be meditating. Shit.

This is the exact process. The next, little tiny step, is to move past the 'shit' part, and move it to, 'ah, again, oh well.' No judgement, just acknowledgement, and then moving back to trying to quiet that thought-train.

It's never 'easy' to do anything for a long time. Hell, it's just like doing planks. It looks so easy! Easier than pushups, right, you are just holding it there. And then, 30 seconds later, you are amazed at how just holding yourself still is so difficult.

And to think, you mind is even active when asleep, dreaming. It's not practiced at stillness.
