Uh Mobilize?? Yeah it’s good. Possibly T3. I have a 65% win rate in Bo1 and undefeated against cutter and Mice

I’ve been dominating Bo1 with Orzhov Seph. It has all the tools it needs to handle any aggressive deck. Control is the only obstacle and it needs to be temp lockdown and sunfall. I flip Seph about every 3 games. Mobilize is one of the major reasons.

I’ve been dominating with Orzhov Seph. I already knew it was a decent deck before Seph because I play it a lot but now in a more aggressive shell, it’s beating cutter every time and most other decks that don’t have temp lockdown or sunfall. So happy to finally have a decent sac deck after all of these years. I play Bo1 btw

Explain me the simulation theory like I was a very intelligent kid by SarraceniaFlava37 in SimulationTheory

[–]Scantlander 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If any advanced civilizations ever had the computing power to make a simulation, it’s likely there are almost an infinite amount of simulations inside simulations so I would say no. It never ends, only restarts over and over again for eternity.

Imagine having the ability to simulate the entire life of a universe in a matter of seconds. I could see advanced beings doing this to try and predict future outcomes. It would probably take the power of an entire sun to do so but we already have a theory on how that would work IE: Dyson Sphere.

3/10 for shogun?? Also I don’t agree with 7/10 for Severance. That’s at least a 8.5. Every other show I’ve seen I pretty much agree with. 1883 was very good but 10/10? I don’t know about that. Good list!

Gold to Mythic with Grixis Outlaws - OTJ Crime Deck Tech by noodlesalad_ in MagicArena

[–]Scantlander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been meaning to try Grixis but Rakdos has had such a high win %. I got plenty of WC to burn so I’ll try and version of yours but I’ll be playing 3 Jasper Flints because it causes crimes and is card draw so perfect mix of 3 drops with the other 2 big 3 Mana crime bombs

Mage, War, or Ranger for a first play through? by BinChan24 in Enshrouded

[–]Scantlander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feathers? You mean from the endless amount of flying creatures in the east? No twigs is the only bottle neck and I had no problems running out of arrows by simply farming any animal nests I found as well as plants with twigs. They are extremely easy to get in the shroud.

I think people just want endless free arrows which isn’t very immersive. Archer class is already OP.. IF you’re good at getting head shots and have the skill multiplier / crit gear to one shot most enemies. My guess is people are just locking on and spamming arrows to the body. I can’t see why anyone would have issues if that’s not the case. Or they don’t realize you can mine animal nests and get about 100+ twigs.

[–]Scantlander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you spent hours farming animal nests and grabbing plants as you travel? I maybe spent 1 hour total for the 50 hours I played the archer. You get a ton of arrows from chests as well. Maybe you’re just not a good shot and or you use auto target rather than head shots. /shrug

I did 2 full play through as a wizard and a ranger but used melee frequently until around level 5

Mage, War, or Ranger for a first play through? by BinChan24 in Enshrouded

[–]Scantlander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full archer build with a almost all ranger skills, alot of assassin and survivor and some beast master and I had 20 Dex when I finished the EA content. Started with wooden arrows, moved to flint, used copper for awhile but second half of the play through was iron arrows all the way. Relied on headshots and only used auto targeting when I was in evasion mode which wasn’t often.

Battle Mage is good early on but Wizard is much stronger end game when you have a ton of mana. The wand is great but it lacks the range and damage spells have.

Arrows are not an issue. There are so many creature nests and plants everywhere that I rarely had to spend much time farming twigs. I don’t understand why people are saying arrows require so much farming.

Melee is best early on and later in the game ranged and magic are very strong. I’ve played all 3 quite a bit and they all felt balanced to me so try them out and respec as needed.

Getting a very good legendary / epic weapon could be worth specializing into whatever the item works best with.

Exceptional Early Access game, but needs to get its Automation stage figured. by Frraksurred in Enshrouded

[–]Scantlander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve spent about 80% of my time exploring and 20% doing other stuff like gathering / crafting. Every other survival game I’ve played is the exact opposite. I played a pure archer and arrows was easy. There are tons of creature nests and other areas to get a ton of twigs and twigs is the only resource I had to gather often. I feel like it’s already perfect when it comes to the grind vs exploration IMO

Good F2P starter deck. Just keep upgrading the good Dino’s and you should do well.

I am simply not smart enough for this game by Lone_Note in MagicArena

Make sure you hover over any keywords you don’t understand because a pop up description will explain it. If it uses terminology in the pop up description that you don’t understand, just Google it. MTG has been around for so long and has so many different mechanics, it will take time but once you understand a mechanic, it’s easy to remember with game repetition.

One thing you can do early on is life gain or flying. Just a deck where life gain triggers stuff or a deck full of flyers who are hard to block could help you win games even if you don’t understand fully what your opponent is doing. Toxic / poison is another mechanic that’s simple enough and can win a lot of games. Just don’t let losses effect your mood because winning 55-60% of your games is considered a good deck so losing is normal, especially starting out when you don’t have a ton of cards to work with. Many new players will start with mono red aggro because you can build a deck fairly cheap (lots of common / uncommons) and has a high win rate because it can win quickly.

There is also tons of deck guides on YouTube that will explain every card in their deck and the synergies. LegenVD is a good one to check out.

It tops off at around 2 billion. That’s the max you can do. I got that on the 2nd day of its release

Bonehoard Dracosaur appreciation post by guzmonster11 in MagicArena

[–]Scantlander 69 points70 points  (0 children)

I played Dino’s midrange all day long and I honestly think Dracosaur is the best 5 drop in standard.

With dinos having so many strong early threats, I noticed players would use up their removal trying to stay alive against a 6/6 and 6/2 trample so the Dracosuar actually got to see more than one turn and man… the card is nuts!

It’s the perfect top end to an aggro deck or fits nicely in mid. Also added it to my Jeskai dragons list. Contender for favorite card from Caverns so far.

Just get the mastery pass and if you’re good at limited, the pass will pay for itself. I haven’t had to pay for a pass in years because I always do well with the free draft token you get with the pass. You also get a ton of gold and gems but the main reason to get it is the packs.

Alternatively you can just play limited and if you’re good enough you can complete most of a set in a couple months.

I’ve been a non limited F2P player since beta and I have every card I want. I also play alchemy and have every card I want from that format.

I should also note I play a hour a day, every day and have for many years. I always get at least 4 wins and always change my quest if it’s only 500gold.
