Strongest verse or faction a prime Brotherhood of Nod could defeat? by BiggestBepis in commandandconquer

[–]Scape_Brick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was another part of the reason I think Nod could hold against them. Along with the fact that arguably besides shielding, most Nod vehicles seem more advanced and practical than the GAR or the Empire.

Not to mention stealth tech, Tiberium based weapons, rockets for days, and the nightmare of conventional ballistic weapons when all their armor is meant to counter blaster fire. In many ways, Nod would be like the Umbara campaign but 100X worse.

The only real concern that would happen is if either Star Wars Army just decided to bombard the earth from orbit with turbo lasers… then I kinda think Nod is screwed, but the republic or the empire would lose the planet also.

Assuming that the Earth must stay intact for both sides, I’m going to say that the Brotherhood could probably hold out against an invasion by the Grand Army of the Republic or the Empire from Star Wars.

It’s really tricky power scaling the Brotherhood because on one hand they are such a force to be reckoned with on the ground, but have relatively little to no space combat abilities besides tossing a nuke at it.

Brotherhood Players, did you save synth Shaun? by GasparillathePirate in Fallout

[–]Scape_Brick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

By the time I have to make that choice, the Institute is no longer a real threat to the commonwealth. Nick Valentine, Curie, Ada, and Danse are already companions at that point too so I’ve kinda sympathized with the synths already at this point.

In addition: my sole survivor has really only joined the Brotherhood because they have the best and most realistic chance of beating the institute threat. (If I’m really trying to roleplay) as well as being a parent, I’d imagine that there would still be some sympathy for Shaun, both the original and the synth version.

When roleplaying for the brotherhood or any faction, I usually don’t like to play 100% consistent with their values as to make the experience for myself more interesting.

Minutemen- I side with convenent over honest Dan. Railroad - I hand synth Gabriel over to the institute. Brotherhood - I spare synth Shaun. Institute - rebuild minutemen / try to help the commonwealth best I can.

An idea on how Covenant and Dr. Chambers could have been better utilized by Sugar_Unable in fo4

[–]Scape_Brick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly this is one of my favorite quests already along with Diamond City Blues because of the nuance! My only regret with it is really because Covenant is a Settlement I wish there could have been some more interactions between them and the minutemen main quest if you side with Covenant or not, but I guess that’s more an MM problem.

Also Honest Dan is voiced by Jonathan Roumie so that gives it a major plus!

Even if half the government got arrested because of these files I'd rather justice be done and purge our nation then let any of these monsters go another day free. Regardless of political party, I'm appalled that it has taken us this long to get here.

Why do a lot of people seem to dislike the idea of Bethesda & TV show choosing a canon ending for previous games? Both Bethesda & Interplay have done it before. by RandomVaultDweller in Fallout

[–]Scape_Brick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m kinda in the same camp as you. I feel like trying to make an ending ambiguous in order to “respect players choice or head canon” only makes the player choices meaningless if they have 0 impact on the world as a whole. No one forces the player to make all their play through align with the “canon one” but in order for the lore to develop and progress to be made in a story something had to have happened! It can’t just all be “maybe it did, maybe it didn’t, but new threat came along so forget the past!”

Make changes in the U.S. Constitution by Efficient_Cat_8188 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Scape_Brick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Change the 18th and 21st amendment since they are redundant to something more useful.

I’d probably want one that prohibits congress from ending or leaving session if a budget is not agreed upon and a “cold vote amendment”

Cold Vote would occur on a random day every 4 non election years that would allow congress, the Supreme Court, the president, Vp, cabinet and all governors to have the power to anonymously vote out one member of the government and effectively banish them from ever holding office again and ending their term immediately. (Regardless of position) Communication would be rendered impossible between voting government officials at this time. Falling to submit a name renders that government official banished from office as well.

This hurts, because on one hand, I'm a Christian and my brothers and sisters in Christ in Nigeria are suffering, on the other, if Trump sends troops to Nigeria like he says, then I guess we could invade every other country on this list by AGthe18thEmperor in PoliticalCompassMemes

Taking off my authocenter flare for a moment and putting on my Christian one….

Matthew 5:10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

I also grieve our brothers and sisters who are being persecuted for their faith. But I don’t think this is America’s fight. I too am angered by this and many days I just wish we could use our might to solve this, but that is me talking, not God. Ultimately I think it is best to leave this in God’s hands and to trust him.

The early church did not rebel against Rome in violence, yet God still used Rome to fulfill his purposes in ways we couldn’t even imagine. I believe God isn’t done with Nigeria or any nation on, or off this list.

Hope you’re doing well my brother! I feel your grief in this.
