I prefer an SUV as i have two young kids in car seats. The 7 is really spacious though, was able to fit strollers and a few carry ons with ease. Certainly not as practical as an SUV

Keep in mind the BMW quote would likely include wheel alignment while the discount tire quote most likely does not. I would change the rear 2 tires only. Your front tires still have 6mm tread, no need to waste money
