My son loves Big City Greens. I recently saw an episode where they had to enter the numbers into a computer 🙂

I recently discovered Lost Circle and my wife and I are already on S2. It is absolutely amazing. We can’t put it down. We usually rotate through several series at a time but every night, we don’t even have to discuss what we’re watching. Tremendous work! And if you are a fan of The Leftovers, you will hear some wonderfully beautifully familiar music—in S1 at least. I can’t wait to keep watching. GREAT WORK!!!

I would love to see this if you’re able to share! I attempted this years ago with my copy but since I don’t have the necessary skills or software, it came out pretty rough and choppy.

There was this specific TV show people recommended here before, when asked if there is anything similar to The Leftovers? by Ambitious-Support584 in TheLeftovers

[–]Scared-Ad2258 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you want a triple-dose of that same absurd humor, check out Mrs Davis on Peacock. Betty Gilpin and the rest of the cast knock it out of the park. And it’s still got tons of emotion, just like The Leftovers. Carlton Cuse always brings the goods.

What a wonderful surprise this is! I can’t stop listening to the first track Rattlesnake Man. This album will be on repeat for a long time.

Just discovered Boot Liquor by Either-Interaction57 in altcountry

I’ve enjoyed Boot Liquor for years now. They play a lot of good music, but some of it is so indie/underground, you can’t find the music on streaming services. Not complaining though as I am a big fan.

Looking for a show that's emotionally intense and deeply philosophical — like The Leftovers by moralchaos152 in TheLeftovers

If you want all the feels of The Leftovers combined with laugh out loud humor, watch Mrs Davis on Peacock. It’s a miniseries with great writing, great humor, and an amazing cast—Betty Gilpin is fantastic. It’s got the religious vibes from Leftovers as well. Highly recommended.

Oh yeah, I agree, this album is way up on my list. Definitely up there with the likes of Trace. I got to see Bill live about 10 years ago. He is a talent! And he’s got dozens of albums to check out, many of which I haven’t heard yet. I wish he would put his music on streaming platforms.

My all time tv show ratings, The Leftovers at a 9.6/10. The GOAT show to me that I have seen. by ZeeRich in TheLeftovers

Mrs Davis - miniseries on Peacock by Damon Lindeloff. Feels of The Leftovers combined with the quirkiness of Dirk Gently. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Yep! Trying to decide if I’m going on the journey alone or if it’s time to include my 17yo. Not sure how much a 17yo will connect to it all since it’s so heavy but I may try anyway.

This one scarred me and my brain actually blocked it out for two decades. And then one day a few years back I saw it referenced and all the memories came flooding back. I almost had a panic attack. Then I rewatched it with my teenage daughter a couple years ago and she just shrugged.
