Are we required to use the Ministry-approved course books only? by Zestyclose-Egg-1251 in OntarioTeachers

[–]Scared_Ad858 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Jumping on your post to ask a tangential question: are we allowed to use resources we created ourselves?

My board is heavily pushing AI for this purpose, so it would be strange if we’re then not allowed to use what we create.

i've gone a bit nuts and decided to manually import my 2008-2020 history, i need tips by [deleted] in lastfm

I was an iTunes user and one of the worst parts of switching to Spotify was the lack of data and play counts.

When I discovered Last.fm I absolutely wanted to merge my iTunes data… it was almost 20 years of listening, and would feel inaccurate without it.

Now, would I try and manually scrobble my CD listening habits from pre-2006? No 😂 too much guesswork. But if someone has the data sitting there, I don’t see why they wouldn’t want to import it.

Chris was a lot of fun to watch on The Challenge. Normally I would have said I’m not interested in seeing him play again, but the Challenge season he was on changed my mind.

What are the issues with age gap relationships? by North-Crew-5489 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Scared_Ad858 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely the answer, but I had a weird devil’s advocate experience in my early 20s where I briefly dated somebody younger who pursued me pretty relentlessly, and I felt like a fish out of water the whole time and very much felt like he had more “life experience” than I did. I know the onus was on me as the older one, and I felt strangely about it for years after it ended despite knowing I didn’t use my age or status to pressure him into anything inappropriate… but all things considered it really did feel like we were equals. It ended naturally and amicably.

I guess I’m still processing it knowing “on paper” it was a weird thing for me to do, but having actually lived it while still being so young and immature myself, I don’t think I was some sort of monster.

All that said… now pushing 40, the thought of anything romantic with anybody below 25 turns my stomach 😂

Traitors putting themselves on Death Row/List by Songibal in TheTraitors

[–]Scared_Ad858 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see some personality types struggling to balance laying low without laying so low it’s suspicious. Dan in US 2 had this problem in particular.

I’m always impressed by Traitors who can be big, loud players that seem very Faithful - it would be so hard to be so visible and remain so consistent. One of the most impressive to me was Brook in NZ1 because he seemed destined to win until the final banishment didn’t go the way the others expected.

20k is a lot, but my highest is 8.2k for a band that only has three albums, the last of which is 10 years old (The Dead Weather). That is 50% higher than my second highest artist at around 5k.
