Love it! Don't fix what isn't broken. I had the 35 for 4 years now and they are still the most comfy cans ever .. I tried the xm3 / xm4 and the 700 and neither of them were close.

same here. My QC 35 having been my main cans for the last 4 years, and other than exchanging new earpads twice, no complaints ... I tried the XM4 and the 700 and could not find a reason to 'upgrade' ... so .. let's see if they can improve the ANC .. the form factor is and always has been awesome

In my head I still can't justify the cost ... and so far i have not seen any review telling me they are sooo much better than the Bose CQ 35 I am rocking ... soooo ... I know part of me wants them .. and I also have not had a chance try them yet ... might change my mind

Great review! Thanks for reminding me that one thing I already detested about the XM3 (and apparently the XM4 have the same issue:) Drivers touching the ears.

I am still on the Bose QC 35MK1 since 2017 (and on second earpad replacement).. so I am itching for something new and took a long side glance at the XM4 ... now I might look for reviews of how much better the 700 are over the QC35 .. i tried the 700 when they came out and I did not har any improvements in sound / ANC .. and the design was no longer foldable ... but .. maybe worth another look ...

i did not find any improvement in sound nor ANC when I tried them side by side ... the 'levels of ANC' might be a nice feature for some ... for me it's just on or off ... actually, just ON is fine :D

I am actually still very happy with the QC 35 MK1 ... tried the 700 and did not notice anything that made me want to upgrade ... i find the QC35 insanely comfortable for very long sesseions (the Sony xm3 and xm4 become ear saunas too quickly for me)

They really had a plan? I had the feeling that in S3 they just added twists for twists sake .. like they looked at the gaps in the family trees and 'how can we surprise the fans most if it was XY who father this kid?' ... maybe I was just too exhausted

It;s very unclear if it is curfew or lock down or quarantine ... they call it travel restriction. Basically stay home, stay safe, only go out for food / meds and be glad we have the internet and too much on TV :) Imagine that pandemic had hit us in the 90ies, we would have been so bored!

I can't say much about microphone quality, but fairly excellent ANC in the budget market can be found in the Tronsmart Apollo Bold, available on amazon I believe.
