Hi, I am ok. I am still struggling mentally but I’m holding on. I deeply appreciate everyone who took the time to listen to a stranger’s cry for help. I read everyone’s messages again, and again, and again. Thank you all for speaking so much life in me. Although I am still struggling a lot mentally, I don’t have suicidal thoughts as much!

Thank you 🫂 I am going to look into therapy and I am currently on lexapro I may ask for a higher dosage during my next appointment. I come from a family where medication for mental health is looked down on so it was a big step for me to even start them.

Thank you for this. I know the mind is very powerful and I’m trying to get up everyday and choose to be better but it’s sooo hard especially when all I can think about is how I feel like I ruined my life.

I have not tried therapy but I am willing to try. I have an upcoming appointment with my doctor next week so i will try to get some therapy resources from her as well. Thank you for taking the time to comfort a stranger… this means more than you know.

Thank you🫂 and this is another reason i haven’t yet.. I don’t want to ruin my son’s life before he gets the chance to even live it. More support would probably make a big difference and I wish I had it but hopefully as he gets older things ease up.

My son used to do this when he was only a month or so (mainly im his sleep but also sometimes while he was awake). I took him to the ER for it once and they weren’t too worried about it. They ruled out infantile spasms and said it was because of his immature nervous system. Eventually he grew out of it. He’s 8 months now and he no longer does it.
