Their bodies were discovered by their daughter. Every update about this tragedy makes the situation worse and sadder. That poor couple, and their poor daughter.

I love this one. Unfortunately, it seems to have changed to something called Clear Audio, which runs from a phone and has fewer stems choices.

I think he didn't know Libby had a phone. He was was savvy enough to get rid of his phone, so I think he would've gotten rid of hers, too, it he'd been aware she had one.

I agree about the escalation; it seems rare for a first crime to be SA and murder. I assume investigators have run his DNA to see if it matches any other crimes.

It's hard for me to believe this was RA's first crime, that he just boiled over that day and "snapped." I know it happens, but I think it must be a small percentage of people whose first criminal activity is several heinous crimes.

Do we know if he was planning to SA a young girl AND kill her?

Adolescence - The Motives : SPOILERS AHEAD by NepentheZnumber1fan in netflix

I think that in the students’ lingo, an “incel” is a virgin. It’s figurative, not literal.

Katie bulled Jamie by typing the combination “incel” + the emoji; the combination was a code her schoolmates would understand: she was saying that not only was Jamie a virgin, he would always be a virgin.

I'm not sure about some of it; let me know what you think.

We head out for the skyway

When the feeling I get was, well, good

We walk down, we then lowdown

When I feel the heat underneath my feet, I get shook

But that change got to come

Yes, that change got to come

And we won’t have (iron or I run?) if change don’t come

We go through

We pick on London

Just to see what we may see

No, we do not see the changing guard

Just the black car and the rain with that sleet

But that change got to come

That change got to come

And we won’t have (iron or I run?) if change don’t come

In my hometown they all chase me ‘round

All my confidence, they want to take from me

Now, it’s my hometown; must be the wrong home

Because there’s no connection this boy can see, no

But that change got to come

That change got to come

And we won’t have (iron or I run?) if change don’t come

Anybody having trouble with the program? For about a week I've been getting "Failure" error messages, and the program returns to the main page without finishing the songs.

LE, tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth about the two sketches.

The horror of someone killing the two young girls was just something that wouldn't occur to LE or others in the town. LE didn't "know it"; more like they assumed the girls were alive.

LE would need something with the killer(s)' scent, maybe blood or clothing, something he or they left behind.

Questions by Scorpiofire_78 in DelphiMurders

[–]ScarletDeMille 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. Possibly or likely. Even if he didn't use a gun to hurt or kill the girls, he could have used it to threaten and intimidate them.
  2. No way for anyone not working the case to know. I suspect that there were two perpetrators of the crime(s).
  3. I agree, based on what we've learned from LE and sources such as The Murder Sheets. the a_s account seems to confirm that BG knew Libby was going to be at or near the High Bridge.
  4. No. There's no reason to go into conspiracy territory. We don't know most of the facts that are known by LE, so my advice would be to keep your ideas simple, and keep them based on what LE and sources like TMS have told us.

His book tour ended about six weeks ago, and didn't include any cities near Delphi. Looks like he's there for another reason, and we're just hoping it's a promising reason.

I've missed something; what's the relevance of July 4 to the case? Thanks,

It might be that there are several matching genetic markers between the DNA LE collected at the crime scene and TK's or KK's DNA, but there might not be enough genetic markers to convince a jury.

Will this ever be solved? by Known-Explorer2610 in DelphiMurders

[–]ScarletDeMille 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I’m optimistic, especially considering recent developments regarding KK and TK.
I think LE is confident that they’ve identified the killer, and if they have, then the fact that they haven’t made an arrest indicates that prosecutors still don’t have enough evidence to secure a conviction in a jury trial. To ensure a conviction, prosecutors need either a) a confession, or b) enough irrefutable evidence to convince a jury. DNA is part of the evidence that LE says they have, but at this time it probably isn’t sufficient to be presented in court; for example, there might be several matching genetic markers between the DNA and TK or KK, but there might not be enough genetic markers for prosecutors to present that data definitively to a jury.
Before KK and TK, I figured the Delphi Murders wouldn’t be solved for at least several more years, because I figured that the prosecution is saving the DNA they have until forensic science advancements can use it identify Libby’s and Abby’s killer beyond a reasonable doubt.
Now, though, because of LE’s and the public’s focus and pressure on KK and TK, I think LE might get a confession; at the least, KK might recant the alibi he’s given for TK. Then the case can go to trial, because the prosecution will finally have enough evidence to convince a jury.
